Badass you could also use that as a table tennis bat
What a brilliant idea man! Have been scratching my head for the past week to try to remove it and you saved me big time.
This is the most anticipated contribution in my subscriptions list. I've missed Ichiban so much!
I'm glad you're back! I see you're still using high-tech tools...🤣😂
The 'tool' does the job, what more does one want. 👍
Is it metric or imperial spruce?
whitworth, its English spruce
Tom Q Must surely be imperial, as over in Europe they haven't got any spruce, they call'em "fichte"..
Its still measured in Whitworth
Has to be JIS..
@@chargingcycles2241 It shouldn't be difficult, first six months on a turntable
Just decided to sell my huge expensive tool kit & just use an old Swiss army knife & some tiny mole-grips. You've saved me a fortune in unnecessary overpriced equipment 👍👍🍺
The legend returns
BADASS!!! Where have you been? Grab your homemade tools and get back to work.
Hi from England
Your full of practical solutions to common problems...
I hope your looking after all the great tools you make as they're sure to make treasured hand me downs to the next generation of young mechanics coming through...
As you say in America:

Signed up today just to cheer myself up. Rattle gun🤣🤣🤣. Great ideas, ichiban
the bad ass youtube channel is back!!
Good to see you back!
Great you are back, i can now fill those huge holes in my knowledge about building my racer and make it better than everyone elses. I have learnt so much, and using assembly tape with zip ties and mint epoxy with your tutorials has allowed me to build some bad ass projects.
Glad your back man!!! ....Let the fun begin....
The way you use those tools is simply amazing!
Back and Badder than Dr Dre..! Awesome..
glad to see u back-love the vids keep em coming.
Totally used this idea last night! Worked great, thanks!
Back and badass as ever! I will admit I was waiting for you to deploy the diamond shears that usually find a use in your tutorials.
I’m so excited, you did it. Thanks for the vid.
My hero is back!
I recently had an electrical problem on my motorcycle. Is it appropriate to use a rattle gun when removing the rectumfryer?
Thanks for the video! I just made one, worked great!
What a fantastic idea!! Thank you so much!!
Absolutely brilliant to see you back buddy. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Keep em coming. Love it.
That tool could be the future of Automobiles.
Thank you man, it worked great for me!
Always interesting and inspirational videos from the Ichy man 🤙👌🤓
Bad Effin Ass!! Thank God you're back!!! My bike projects have stalled without your excellent guidance.
Awesome job! Loved it!
So badass, I think it would actually work!

Badass! That one was a keeper.
So simple, so effective.
It's about time !
Badass. Gunna do this RN on my tw200. Installing a kickstart
Worked awesome. Badass thanks man 👍🏾
Hi there, thanks to your clips I known how to fix my Motobike!
WHAT! no diamond paper for the edges?
Thumbs up for the hole saw and the clutch basket holder.
Cheers
Where I live tools are very expensive! Thanks for the help
Bad ass indeed. Thank you!!!
Yayyyyyyy, Ichiban
Awesome! It can also be used for a bad ass paddle.
I think YOU deserve 5 out of 5 Ichiban Moto stickers for that!!
That was bad ass.... I wished I say this 3 years ago
Brilliant!
I knew I recognized that clutch/gear set. It's a JT mini enduro engine!
That was a cracking tip :)
Look everyone itchy is back. Did you break out using a window bar removal file tool?
5 out of 5 hell yeah kick ass tool ~!
Great clip!!! You must be an engineer!!!
Badass hack!
Should I drill the center hole with a left or right cutting hole saw?
The gentle tones of your diamond paper put me to sleep every time
yeah badass 5 stickah foa numba one!
great! i made one myself!
I missed you so much :)))
Nice!
Another great fix idea from the Moto Man! Nice idea for crafting an impromptu clutch tool. Is it a right handed or wrong handed clutch tool? Thanx!
That was bad ass
Yessss! Perfect solution and I'm so jelly of your Bad Ass drill.
I've been searching for some Diamond Paper to show my students. Where do you get yours? From NT?
Badass!
badasss
Missed you very much
Yay, Ichiban-Sensei is BACK !!
Personally I think this tool is a bit over-the-top, as who on earth would want to use a clutch on a constant mesh tranny anyway ??
But I gave the video a thumbs-up solely for the completely badass editing !
Make some badass diy ice tires
Haha totally badass
Hey Ichiban! Where have you been man!? Good to have you back 👍🏼
I like the nice wood finish and I like how much effort you put into making it, good job.
That said, attaching something to the spring posts risk busting one or more so not a good idea.
If you want a really quick and dirty method you can just clamp a few small vice grips on a few of the steel pressure plates between the basket fingers to hold the centre.
Or just get some old pressure plates and weld them to each other and a bit of rod to them for a handle to hold the centre like shop tool.
welding to an old pressure plate is a great idea, i will have to hunt around. i might have some somewhere. i agree that using the spring posts is risky, so i dont plan on doing that.
Spruce is so bad ass
Bad ass!!
Its a yamaha 50ccm motor. do you need used parts for that?
Good.
Where you been? half of England have been waiting around unable to continue with cafe racers. If you have to break out of jail again, make sure the file to cut through the cell bars is imperial for U.S.Prisons and metric for Europe.
So bad ass it gets 6/5 Ichiban Stickers haha
How do I make a left hand version
Would you mind doing a video on parts cleaning? For when you're restoring a bike and taking things apart and you want to remove rust and corrosion by letting the parts soak for a while on a sink of some sort.
that's a great idea. i can demo the top methods of soaking. oh, there is an Ichiban Moto rust removal video using electrolysis
Ichiban Moto : I have such a pathological fear of being electrocuted that I joined the Navy and became a high pressure steam boiler mechanic on the reasoning that I wouldn't be electrocuted by a coal-fired boiler and (erroneously) believed that there's no electricity on a ship, because water and electricity don't mix.
However, I followed your rust removal by electrolisys up to connecting the clamps to the battery terminals/battery charger. I couldn't do it. The get-up is sitting in my shed.
True story.
i have rounded up some things for this video .. i have several vids going right now, but it is on the shortlist
you can just use old clutch discs with a handle tack welded or bolted on to them...
BAD ASS ! AS always , mas i still thinking where the hell i gonna find your tools....
ok with this one Im not toally sure. Is this useful?
That is much better then welding a spatula to an old clutch plate. No having to find an extra battery or steal a coat hanger from the wife's closet!
oh you legend just saved me $50
bad ass!
Woo he's out of hibernation!
6 out of 5 Ichiban stickers, actually.
I would do this but... So tired...so so tired 😂
I wish I could give this tool a good review because it seemed like a great idea, but I did try it and it definately didn’t work out for me. Be careful if your clutch boss assembly is made of cast aluminum, it is not strong and the threaded part which receives the bolt can break off.. I wish now I spent the $30 dollars on the wrench. Yamaha quoted the part at $800 for a new one although I’ve found cheaper used ones online. But it still hurts. So if you follow this video take a really good look at your clutch and say to yourself is this really going to be strong enough and be prepared to fork out some extra cash if it doesn’t work.
This is EXACTLY what i was thinking and my fears were right. I knew it could break the threaded poles off because these nuts are like 60ftlbs lol
Hold on, that thing might actually work!
I keep falling for this shit.. Omg hilarious
Wow...that video took a long time to edit!
seems like a lot of work when you can just use A pair of vice grips holding one of the steel clutch plates in one of the spots on clutch basket to undo the nat The whole operation takes about a minute
