@@zakk5688 I believe that's what they said the minimum cost is to buy the body panels and have him come out and assemble everything. That doesn't include paint, wheels, etc. So you're talking about a very, very expensive project when it's all said and done. Not sure if you've looked at the prices of a decent 964 or 993 but they ain't cheap either.

So many negative comments about this guys financial situation. It's amazing seeing Akira Nakai work it this video. He truly is a artist, and for all the people saying "He paid all that money for a stanced car"... Yes he did, but at least it's a functional stanced, performance car.
See, I love the car culture! It brings people together, it's fun. Build what you want to build and don't be discouraged on how much money you have or what kind of car. Do what makes you happy! P.s Krispy you're fucking awesome! Love the videos and love the car you built!
Great video. Mind blown that people are surprised "rich" people are involved in Porsche builds. The car is probably less of a financial encumbrance to that family than an iPhone is to the commenters.
Just saw my 1st RWB Nakai built Porsche in person this past Monday, (Kei Kishi), and it was absolutely stunning! I love everything about all these cars and I'd love to see this man build these in person someday. All three of those in one family is a pretty amazing thing to have I'd imagine, and I love that they're in my hometown! His builds are a thing of beauty and you all absolutely killed it with this video!
This video is so inspiring. Nakai san himself. That rwb looks really clean n sick. Bought an mitsu fto and im building for about a year n half now and krispy keeps pushing me. Love the content fam.
Love how clean the garage is👍🏼 I hate building in dirty shops, even if the floor is clean, it’s cement, grey, and stained... This white walls, clean white floors setup makes for a perfect contrast when looking at the car and or parts. 👍🏼

Kinda funny watching them talk about "our build" and "father son project", when they legit wrote this dude a check for $40k and had the car done in a weekend 🤣

exactly, Nakai was doing this in Japan as a hobby fro him and his friends and then he figured out he could get flown anywhere in the world and get paid $40,000 to put some fiberglass on a car
Nakai is an artist I'll agree with that. His body kits evoke emotions, sure. But for a "classic" car made to withstand the environment and the test of time, this is not acceptable - especially when outshined by companies like Singer or even Larry's porsche restoration from AMMO.
Ben West do you suggest Singer is not also art? The discussion is not whether rwb is art or not. I merely question whether better techniques could be used in place of Home Depot rattle spray cans, greasy finger smudges, and crooked cutting lines
both are definitely art. in your example, the methods are immaterial... just like an artist who uses old junk or builds scrapyard sculptures vs the one who uses brand new, custom materials. Both are respected but different in their approach.
