Just stopping by to check this out & say HAPPY NEW YEAR COACH !!! Hope all’s well Bro !!!
Thanks brother! Happy new year to you as well!
I love wearing these while on the heavy bag. They make the pop sound like gun shots 🥊🥶
Love the rb50s almost too much i damn near tore my hands off the first time i did the heavybag with em cause i so addicted to training with these bad boys lol
Great review. May I ask, in terms of promoting both accuracy and correct punching techniques, which one would you recommend among rival rb5, rb50, guerrero hdef and sff?
For your injured knuckle, does it hurt when you punch even with wraps and a heavier glove?
Love the background music and overall production of this review. Unattached thumb is a dealbreaker for me, but your reviews are always a pleasure. Thanks Coach!
Thanks brother, glad you enjoyed the vid! Yeah I wouldn’t have gotten it if I knew it was a detached thumb, but it’s generally not a problem. Only stubbed my thumb a couple of times 😖
Cool gloves and good video. The thing they have in the knuckle area is d3o, same stuff is used inside motorcycle jackets and pants for crash protection (shoulder, knee and back pads). Some motorcycle gloves also put d3o in the knuckles. It works for crashes, so looks like also works when crushing the bag. BTW, I also use elastic laces, not a Velcro fan.
Elastic laces are the way to go, haha.
I didn't know that about the D30, thanks for educating us on that 👍
Love your vids man and also can you try to do a video on everlast 1910 training gloves
Definitely looking into those, thanks
Would you recommend these or the Velcro Guerrero hde-f for bag work? Or maybe even the rb10?
For bagwork I like smaller gloves. These and the Guerrero hde-f feel similar, but these are just a lot cheaper in price.
Does the stitches of the pad shock starting to come out with time ? In your video seems they are already loosing up and in their store th image seen like thy won't hold, can you tell after months of use ? That will be useful to know
So far no, looks to be fine. But I’ll let you know if they do
@@ThatBoxingGuy thanks mate, highly appreciated
Great Content. Can you do a comparison video about the rival rs100 and the rival rs1 ultra 2.0?
Keep it up bro.
Funny thing, I actually recorded a comparison with the original RS1 awhile back but then the 2.0 came out. So I just scraped that. But I have the 2.0 now, and once the lockdown ends in my area I plan on making that comparison
@@ThatBoxingGuy That would be awesome!!Looking forward to it.
hey! how heavy are the larges? are they equivalent to like a 14oz glove?
I’ll have to check, they’re currently in my gym locker, so I can’t right now. But I think they were closer to 12 oz
I want to hear some of your personal stories
one day 😆
If you're gonna use one glove for everything what would be your choice
From the gloves I’ve used, I’d say between the Rival RS1(or RS100), Bryant Boxing Imperial, or the Hit N Move All day
Hi coach, these or the RB11s?
I like these better, personally.
Will I still need gel / hand wraps when I use these gloves?
Hand wraps, yes, but no need for the gel pads. Might be too tight if you do
@@ThatBoxingGuy What if you don't have wraps/don't want to use them? (I just want bag gloves I can put on right away)
@@yynnooot I usually recommend wraps but you can go without it, just tighten the wrist strap well and keep your fist tight when you connect. Also make sure to let the gloves air out so that it doesn’t stink.
@@ThatBoxingGuy thanks!
Good video - RB50 or RB1 or RB2?
I prefer these, but I like smaller compact gloves for bagwork
You’d just get to return them if you complained lol. I got the white pair and they looked pre-used but polished. I was able to return them after trying them out a few days
Sounds like a lot of work for a lazy man like me, haha.
How big are your hand circumfronce?
I’m gonna have to dig up my measuring tape… I do know the width across my hand (from knuckle area) is a bit over 10cm
@@ThatBoxingGuy I ordered large iv 10cm hands thanks for the help!
We need that story bro
😂
i like this guy, hes seems like a nice guy and does know what hes talking about, but FFS i dont want to see you do the research on the fly mate. good bag gloves.
Haha, I’m just too lazy to memorize stuff. I used to stress over that when I first started, now not so much😆
@@ThatBoxingGuy I bought some they are great. Small, light and good feedback and wrist protection. Thanks for your review!
