I love the sudden shifts in progression as it reaches 1:59 and 3:32. Aside from the final minute, they're so drastically different from the rest of the track in terms of instrumentals.
I don't know what it is, but this song somehow gets the "come on man, you're running out of time!" so well without it being over dramatic until the last minute.
