  • This video was edited down from a live stream. The original painting took about an hour and a half.
    The palette:
    titaniium white
    Michael Harding bright yellow lake (pigment PY3)
    Michel Hardiing yellow lake (pigment PY74)
    cad yellow
    yellow ochre
    Michael Harding green gold
    Williamsburg quinacridone gold brown
    Micchael Harding quinacridone rose
    ultramarine blue
    raw umber
    ivory black
    Brushes were mostly synthetic flats, with a couple of hog filberts.

    Love the video! Hope you are feeling better. I happened to be working on matching Munsell chip colors for cheetah fur when this popped up in my feed. I love dandelions and am eyeing the "weeds" on my walks and thinking about the possibilities.

      Thanks Fiona. I love Kathy's work! She's a lovely person too, I'm quite jealous to hear that you've done a workshop with her :) I was hoping to this year but will be following her video series now instead.
