@@IdiotsWithPipes English Biscuit is now on my list to try! The acquisition of Esoterica Margate happened by complete accident. I had never heard of it before, but serendipitously stopped into my local pipe shop because I had some spare time. That day happened to be the international release day for Esoterica blends. The store owner had received several tins of each variety earlier that day and in the afternoon some were for sale. Many were spoken for, and after reading the descriptions of several, I settled on Margate. In my few minutes of being in store, he sold out of everything Esoterica and I got the last Margate. When I got home I opened the tin to get a sniff, and it instantly appealed to me. To be safe I moved it all to a mason jar. That evening I enjoyed a bowl of it, and it was better than I expected! Since then, as it ages in the jar kept in the dark, the flavor has morphed into something indescribable. The only comparison I can make is that to me, it's similar to MacBaren Scottish Blend in that every bowl seems to have a slightly different flavor profile because of the many varieties of tobacco in the blend. It's certainly worth a try if you like strong English blends, and I don't think it will disappoint. Another day I will regale you with my journey to becoming a coffee drinker, if you like.

@@bryanmelton5538 yes!! A corncob is the perfect place to start!! Get you a cheap corncob from Missouri Meerschaum. I own more corncobs than briar. Nothing against briar, but I really like a corncob. As far as tobacco, that is such a wide, broad question, that does not have a simple answer. My best advice, buy bulk tobaccos, because most places you can get them in 1oz bags, or about 7-10 smokes.
