I was on youtube for something else and this subject passed my way. My pastor was preaching about the office of a Bishop and 1 wife was a requirement. I have read some comments of a second chance, from my understanding this is his third. I agree that things do happen in a marriage and it takes both with God to make it work, and some give up or it is one sided. When you choose to marry it is your choice and your vow to God stands. better not to make a vow than to make it and break it. Seek God

I agree. It’s hypocritical to instruct others in the Word that we ourselves don’t honor.
These are the same preachers who from the pulpit tell you that you should not remarry after getting a divorce. When preachers get divorce they have no problems remarrying.
Reading some of these comments, and it’s amazing to me how we hold the preachers to such a high level of accountability when all they are, are men. And we hold these guys to a standard we don’t live up to ourselves. Judge in correction and love. After that, pray no one goes looking in your closet!! That’ll preach right there!! They are held in an accountability in preaching and teaching the word but we are all judged the same in the end!!

Christ didn't say that. Apostle Paul said that. Peter disagreed with Paul a lot. Paul had a lot of institutional background of doing things which he introduced into Christianity. Let's be careful about how we assume that everything Paul said is automatically spiritual. Most of the epistles of Paul is more about order in the church than it is truly about salvation from Christ's perspective. Churches today preach 70% Paul and 30% Christ. The same mistake the Catholic church did in the dark ages.
A church as an institution is not exclusively mutual to the the precepts of Christ.
Most churches are following traditions of churches they came out of without questioning anything. Most bishops are just a continuation of the bishops who taught them and the doctrine is never question to it becomes tradition. Holiness is not exclusively mutual to church.
Christ has been lost or used only at the end of prayers in churches nowadays. Everything else is culture, doctrine of the bishop, dogma of the Bible school the founder/ pastor came from and Apostle Paul. If churches preached only Christ, they'll be broke. Christ is not good for institutional church. That's why church leaders love preaching Paul more than Christ the Savior.

I try to stay out of folks business and just worry about myself but the hatred in the comments are ridiculous. Y'all are not GOD. He don't need no help, he got it all under control. I pray that Bishop Weeks has a blessed marriage, we as the body of Christ should not be so judgmental. I pray that he is restored in whatever he struggles in, the Body of Christ is divided because we do not uplift people up in prayer, but we cast stones. examine yourself, and pray for others that struggle with things. It is not our place to judge, but to love one another. Not to compromise but love.

I remember meeting Juanita Bynum she has recently married him. I remember the Holy Ghost saying she married to soon. I was so scared to say it to her. Not long after he beat her and it was all over the news. I think about it every time I see them

It's weird that what he described as wanting in a woman (global vision, seeing the importance of building up God's kingdom, etc) is clearly seen in Juanita Bynum. Sometimes people do not realise what they have! The issue may have not necessarily been the ex-wives.
