i am having a problem when i scale the emitter the objects scale too, how can i just change the emitter scale without distorting the objects that it emits
Hey thank you for another great tutorial! Do you have any plans on making one about the node editor for beginners (like starting from the very scratches)? Thank you and all the best
@@BTB3D I know right. Everybody seems to be so excited about the node editor and many times I've heard saying that it's so easy and intuitive to use that I'm feeling so stupid not understanding a single thing about it... :/ Like how can it be more intuitive than just drag into the viewport and edit with your mouse/stylus instead of putting numbers inside boxes... Maybe that's for mathematician people unlike me🤦
Question for you...I'm working on a project (my first one with this particular element) that calls for the particle emitter to move. The trouble is, the emitter seems to have some trouble following its animation path and keeps emitting in such a way that the particles are chasing the object meant to be emitting. (think pulse lasers like you might see on the Defiant from DS9) Forums about this are worse than useless. Have you ever done anything like this? Wondering if you might have any suggestions.
@@BTB3D I checked xparticles i did not understand how to emit particles from selected polygon in a object in my case it is the hole in the wheel. How to emit particles from a selected polygon? Do you have any tutorial for that?
you are the best please don't stop making videos! I wish to see more particle tutorials thank you so much!
Sir thanks ! Can you share some tips on how to switch shapes of particles once they collide with any surface, would it be possible in c4d ?
thank you for this excellent tutorial
Thank you for this, but how do you emit objects rather than particles in the C4D update (July 2024) ? Can't seem to find this option anymore. Thanks!
thank you! it was very helpful.
You got it!
great video-thanks...
Thanks for watching!

CAN WE EXPORT SIMULATION ONLY WITH EMITTER EMITTING MULTIPLE OBJECTS WITH PROPER TEXTURE IN ALEMBIC OR ANY OTHER FORMAT
It works with spheres. If you add custom objects many bugs appear. The Cinema Emitter is unreliable. Avoid it inside projects.
I haven't had those issues, but I haven't used the emitter all that much with Redshift.

Nice question
At some point I would like to, but I will need to dive into it more first!

Try turning on "tangential"
render view is ok but when i bake and rende. particles not rendering. any solution please ?
See if not using render instances works or try using the new particle system!
Is there a way to have a custom object as a deflector? Instead of a plane?
As far as I know, no. That is unless you use dynamics
Also i want to particles fall into crumbles n turn into fine small pieces
You might need xparticles for that.

How to emit particles from a selected polygon? Do you have any tutorial for that?
How to seamlessly LOOP???
You might need to use 2 particle systems.
bro they keep updating how am i supposed to follooooooooooooooooow
