Just always reminds me of.. I'll tell ya who wrote it.. I can remember his name.. Rod Liddle.. he was the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one 😂😂😂
Best fans un the world? Bollocks.Thats what’s wrong with the Irish supporters mentality. Why not be the best team in the world,or at least strive to be?
There is no comparison between dunphy and hitchens other than they both liked their booze. Christopher hitchens was a legend, Dunphy is a tool with a big mouth.
"But technically for the Irish side, he restricted our flow of play and once we brought in Kinsella/Holland midfield we played better football." That's hilariously false. We had poor attacking midfielders so HE restricted our flow of play? Haha, madness.
In my own opinion English speaking countries that refer to it as soccer do so because they have their own kind of football. Before soccer/football was introduced to them they already had a 'football'. The shape of the ball and whether they kick it or not is irrelevant.
A reasonable player .... in 2002.... No, Peter, he was one of the best players on the planet in 2002. Would have walked on to any team, club or country.
One thing ive noticed about the Irish is that they arent content unless they are bickering. A conversation with my father in law was basically an argument. It always left you deeply unnerved but he looked like he was loving it. I much prefer the light hearted riffing that the English do.
He was a great hacker and was the most feared player in his day, but he wasn't technically that gifted a player. You can't compare him to Giggs or Scholes, he has enough game to play in the premier league, but a lot of it is down to his tenacity and his ability to intimidate other teams and obviously that helped United to a lot of titles. He would have definitely been a difficult player to play against, but what are you trying to say? That he was Xavi or Iniesta? Far from it.
That's nice to know although I'm not sure why you're telling me this. You're only proving my point! I am pretty amused at the fact you get so annoyed if a country that is not your own calls a sport by a name you don't in Scotland. :-)
This guy......this guy......this guy......this guy......this guy......this guys' Jack Charlton's biographer.
Peter Byrne former Irish Times reporter - not great. RIP
The referendum line always gets me 😂😂
Dunphy was right those guys were clowns.
My favourite part is when the other guy starts saying there needs to be a referendum called to decide about Roy Keane
It's this sort that are getting into positions of influence over society. They think they're smart but are as u said, 🤡's
"Where d'you get these two guys from?" Brilliant
Vintage
A referendum on bringing Roy Keane back into the Irish team, could you imagine 😂😂😂😂😂
Last 5 seconds are pure gold when Dunphy laughs at your man
Dunphy is in flying form here
Love the hilariously abrupt and random cut to *IRAQ*
This is like an Alan Partridge scene.
Off topic, but jesus, time and technology moves rapidly fast now. This clip from 04 looks as old as 94 lol
What was your man doing in that cardigan in 2004?
Crazy that this comment was 7 years ago...technology has advanced even more now, makes me wonder what it’ll be like 7 years from now
@@DarrenBates All the kids were wearing them back then. I remember mine. 😂
Winning streak is the only place on this planet where anybody can get away with wearing a red tie, an orange shirt and a white cardigan.
Everything about this video is perfect it's like a brilliantly written sketch.
Indeed 😂
Lmao the ending “IRAQ”
Classic Rte
Well in all fairness dunphy had a point where did hey get those 2 from 🙂🙂
Dunphy: 'Where'd you get these two guys from!?'
Brilliant.
Love the lightheaded chat and banter of Irish football to then segue into Iraq 😱😅
I'm obsessed by the Aran cardigan!
This was when Dunphy would take a bullet for Keane. Now he hates Keane, because Keane had a go at him. He's like a jilted lover.
About your cardigan...
"This guy"
"where did you get these two guys from?"
The bloke in his grannys cardigan was gonna hit Dunphy a slap lol.
"this guy this guy this guy this guy"- comedy gold
I was waiting for a "ran off with a young one" style comment 😂
Roy Keane was never a reasonable player, he was top drawer. What a way to thank a great player for Ireland.
Mark Hunter is one tough cookie. The UFC fighters should bless themselves that he didn't join the division.
What a worthwhile contribution.
Dunphy could start a riot in a phonebox. It is compelling to watch. Awesome
ahhh back before the recession when this is all we had to worry about seeing on SHIT primetime
Just always reminds me of.. I'll tell ya who wrote it.. I can remember his name.. Rod Liddle.. he was the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one 😂😂😂
Alan hunter, chairmain of the fictional Irish supporters association. I have never seen him near a game
"He wasn't a great player he was a good player baby ."
Who's the tool in the cardigan? ???
'best fans in the world' where do they all vanish to at the weekends?
Over to Liverpool & Manchester.
Best fans un the world?
Bollocks.Thats what’s wrong with the Irish supporters mentality.
Why not be the best team in the world,or at least strive to be?
@@midnightmover2329only 4 million people pn the island
Loyal Kicker There’s a few more than 4 million on the Island and there also a huge Diaspora that far far exceeds the Islands population.
The fact of the matter is, if you would just give Roy Keane his cardigan back, everything would be fine.
Makes me laugh everytime 😂
There's no chance this is 2004, what year was this recorded in? Looks like 1970
Miriam is struggling to stop laughing at those two clowns.
That was his question all along when he first met those guys 😂😂😂😂,
classic Dunphy, that 1 scything comment was patiently waiting to be unleashed....and BAM!
Where'd ya get these 2 guys from? 😂
Eamon is like a little diva trapped in the body of a retired boxer
Where did you get these two guys from??!

I thought he was going to fling his pen.
And at the very end they cut to Iraq 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where did you get these two guys from? Dunphy what a legend. 🤣😂
Any old iron, any old iron, any, any, any old iron.
Eamon Dunphy, the Christopher Hitchens of sport: the only important thing is the argument itself.
There is no comparison between dunphy and hitchens other than they both liked their booze. Christopher hitchens was a legend, Dunphy is a tool with a big mouth.
"A drunk with flowery words who justified children bellies opened up", tsk, lol. he had perfectly valid reasons for his position
He's a fuckin muppet
"reputation of our country"
Famous Irish saying, reality, no one else gives a fuck
What an insult to that idiot Hitchens.
"But technically for the Irish side, he restricted our flow of play and once we brought in Kinsella/Holland midfield we played better football." That's hilariously false. We had poor attacking midfielders so HE restricted our flow of play? Haha, madness.
Dunphy is a great wind up merchant lol
In my own opinion English speaking countries that refer to it as soccer do so because they have their own kind of football. Before soccer/football was introduced to them they already had a 'football'. The shape of the ball and whether they kick it or not is irrelevant.
Dunphy i love you Baby,,,,,Legend lol
Are you saying Mark Kinsella was a more technically gifted player than Keane?
I thought that fella beside Miriam was Mo Molan.
Joseph Charles Halpin Jesus I actually just burst out laughing there!?!
That's a lovely cardigan 😄
What brawl!!??
We're all in decline...... BABY!!
Eamo the voice of reason, wow
why not?
Who are the other 2 guys?
i like eamon dunphy hes actually not the worst of them.
A reasonable player .... in 2002.... No, Peter, he was one of the best players on the planet in 2002. Would have walked on to any team, club or country.
Gattuso is better
More importantly: how is any of this clip even close to a brawl??

The lad with the cardigan🙄🙄

'A referendum issue' - What an idiotic thing to say
Roy Keane hasn't been Irish for a long time. JUDAS
Roy still causing trouble to this day. Time he went. Bring back Arter .
Arter has never done anything in an Ireland shirt lol
