the thumb trick is so great!! thank you for all of your expertise, ive been really enjoying learning to punch and your knowledge and friendliness makes the craft seem so welcoming. i cant wait to get started punching myself!!!
if i made one on a tshirt and i have to wash it how i prevent it from breaking up? i use a fine thread, should i make some kind of knot? or glue it on the back ? witch glue? Thank u
Amy I love your videos! Could you do one on how to go around very curvy designs and still maintain the correct gauge? I decided to ask DH for his opinion on which one of the patterns I should pick for my Jewel kit and he really liked the paisley! I am not that experienced with the stitch gauge and have just been winging it. Though it looks fine so far, I bet there are some issues with the stitches....
It sounds like you are doing just fine! Just keep practicing (after all, sometimes practice feels like winging it!) and keep using the stitch gauge to double check that you have about 4 (or 6) stitches per inch. It's a pretty forgiving craft and doesn't need to be perfect, but the more you do it on curves, the easier it will get.
Omg this helped so much! My daughter wants to learn how to do this and your tutorial has helped her so much! BLESS YOU ❤
