@cureblake91 - my buddy on facebook last week posts something to the effect of: "I just heard this song [Ghost] and think I am going to stop resisting getting into Phish. this is really good and funky." Like the Dead (as someone else mentioned) its really about getting over the stigma, realizing that you're not going to like EVERY Phish song, and just finding and appreciating the ones you do like. they have so much good original stuff its unreal.
We gotta accept that Phish just doesn't do it for everyone - and there's really nothing wrong with that. I love this band but they're just one of many excellent groups out there making innovative new music.

Some people will still dismiss one good song as a "one hit wonder". you need to persuade them with the more maintstream songs (Free, Character Zero, Bathtub Gin, etc...) once they "GET" Phish, they will start to appreciate the less commercially popular jams. Its just a matter of time before People like Phish imho. They appeal to every genre of rock.
@Xylophunk Alpine Valley, WI 2003 & 2004 I went through the phaze in High School, yes it was phun but I grew out of it I guess lol, yea my ass and elbow carry different aspects that I usually am capable of detecting one from the other but sure I can get mixed up on the occasion!
@ harpuaFSB hey questions- -how much does a camera like that cost? -what about the audio equipt? could you tell me what you used? how you got it into a file and uploaded? -did you have to get a sync license to do this? - is there any way you could message me through youtube that wouldnt be public so we could talk? sry i dont know how else to do this
when people dont understand phish, i put on a video much like this one expecting them to be converted, and then they look at me like i'm crazy. does this happen to anyone else? i wish everyone could "get " phish cuz i really feel like phish (and well made/happy/organic music in general) have made me a happier person. i mean, how could it not?
