I made a pair of these but I used a smaller toggle ring and no size 8 beads on the last row. They turned out awesome. Thank you for the video. Super easy.
I love how you used the toggle. It is very clever! It's more interesting than a plain ring, and it already has the loop for attaching the earwire. Thanks for sharing!
I love this idea! And excellent tutorial. I wonder, could you bead to the -inside- of the toggle loop instead of the outside? That would make a smaller but still interesting beaded earring.
Hi. I love these earrings and want to make them. Can you tell me the size of the toggle loop ring please? (We use mm instead of inch.) On your website isn't a size mentioned. Thank you so much. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Can you use other kind of beads for these earrings I don,t have 8/ 0's can you use 8/0 Czech beads and the 11/0 beads to thank you I love the earrings and thank you for the video to
Circular brick stitch is really fun to experiment with! You can use beads of all sizes. For this pattern, you could substitute smaller beads, but you may find you have to add more of them to achieve the scalloped shape.
I found that the little loop on the earring has to be bent quite a bit to get through the thick toggle loop. Does it matter which way you bend the loop on the earring wire, towards you or away from you? Would a jump ring spoil the look?
Hi Jeannie, you may have to open the loop on the ear wire quite a ways, but as long as you twist it open from front to back (or back to front) it should go back together well. A jump ring wouldn't spoil the look but you'd need to use your pliers to gently re-orient the loop on the ear wire, so the jump ring goes in the correct direction.
Hi I tried to make this as I love the design, but my toggle must have been to small. I didn't get the size you used. But I will continue to look for items that will work. My 8/0's seemed to big as well. :-(
