- We live about 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) so we go all the time. Due to physical restrictions we aren't able to hike into the backcountry. We LOVED our visit to the Rocky Mountains in the past. We didn't allow ourselves to acclimate to the changing elevations (we're almost at sea level here in central NC) so we didn't get to hike as much as we had hoped d(my wife got hit hard with altitude sickness). I'm hoping to visit again one day! Your guides are very useful for helping travelers to plan their outdoor adventures.

Great wrap up love the clear map you share and show where everything is located and the route you like to take. So many great tips from drinking water to help with the elevation to the weather can change so quickly and when its best to see wildlife . We have only visited Denver and Colorado Springs but we are in hopes next year we will do an RV trip and hopefully cover some of Colorado especially this area we will come back and watch all your videos for sure. Also in the video it was fun to feel like we were hanging with you and you made us laugh a few times with the storm comments and bring your umbrella lightening Rod to mooses you up and we are always ready for a beer you should always be prepared! Thanks for the tour great video!

Thanks for sharing this pretty exhaustive guide to visiting Rocky Mountain Park. I like that there is so much to see that is easily accessible. We love to get outside and get some exercise walking through beautiful scenery. But we are not really the type to do strenuous hikes. So these areas you have highlighted will be perfect for us. It is always nice to get some detailed information from experienced locals. We will have to keep this video in mind when we finally make it out to RMNP!

We will be visiting RMNP in a few weeks and I'm so excited!! We couldn't get a timed entry pass because the system doesn't like our international telephone numbers, Since we can go in before 9 am without one, we'll have to do that (we aren't going to Bear Lake.) I can't wait to be there again, I haven't been there in decades and Steve's never been. I hope we see Moose! Thanks so much for all of the tips. (Now I'm just hoping Trail Ridge Road is open when we get there.)
Note that Bear Lake is the prettiest part. They have been getting a lot of snow. So I am not sure when Trail Ridge will be open. My email is on our channel. Email me.
