Thanks for the video - finally one in English (unfortunately I don't understand Italian, sorry Marco, don't take it personally). I find it incredibly difficult to decide between the MF.10 and the Elis.8. I am now on the waiting list for the Elis, let's see ...
Thanks for. great video and demo! @frank - do you know how they would work for a keyboards monitor for stage ....eg pianos, Rhodes, organs, synths etc. I alternate on stage and looking for a simple solution that could work for both my FX3 and keys. Also how loud are they? Do they keep up with a loud drummer, bass, another loud guitarist etc?
I think the RedSound speakers also work great with other instruments like keyboards, piano, synthesizer, etc. If you use a small mixer you can control the volume and sound of each instrument individually. Then I would say the RedSound are perfect.
Hi Kevin, many of my presets are based on older AX8 versions. They are still available: payhip.com/FrankSteffenMuellerStore/collection/fractal-audio-patches
1600usd?. Im guessing shipping isnt included either. You can build two celestion spec 1X12 cabs using the celestion f12-X200 coaxial frlr speakers and throw in an A/B class amp with tons of headroom for less than a third of the price. Hell you could even splurge for a used matrix-gt amp and STILL be at half the cost!!
Dude , I'm a guitarist testing gear. I don't know the US prices. I am not the seller or anything. I have nothing to do with the prices. I think it is in the same price range as Atomic CRL for example. Products for example Friedman are much more expensive.
@@FrankSteffenMueller you are a great guitarist btw. Actually a Friedman ASC-10 is 900usd. That price is on par with an active mf10. However...it's a freaking 500 watt monster using a class G amplifier. Granted you need 2 so you are looking at 1800usd but for the extra 200 over the mf10s it's totally worth it. Personally Im using the Axefx3 and have a rack anyway so I opted to spend 300 on the celestions, 50 on plywood, and an open box deal on a pro quality class A/B rack amp. 550 total. That's 1100 (or more with shipping) I can spend on another guitar.....or the wife if she is lucky 😂
I think I found my next million dollar idea..Picks that have a flavor when you put it in your mouth..THanks for putting this out...
Thanks a lot. I prefer lemon flavor :)
What was your FIRST million dollar idea?
so good and great to meet you at NAMM
Yep, awesome. See you next year ❤️🤘🎸
@@FrankSteffenMueller I picked up 2 RS.12Pro/M last week and played over the weekend I will make a demo soon

Thanks Robert. The Elis.8 are great for sure. Maybe I can do a little comparison video of them.
@@FrankSteffenMueller This would be absolutely great, Frank - Thank you very much!
@@FrankSteffenMueller That would be fantastic!
In regards to volume would these have higher volume capability than the Headrush FRFR108 2000w 8" Powered Cabinet
Sorry, I have no idea - never tried the headrush. All I can say is, that the RedSound works as a monitor speaker in the band very well.

Frank, do you have any of your old AX8 main rock presets you could share?

What brand are the angled isolation pads you have under the MF10s?
Arturo, these are "KS Tools 160.0382 Rubber Wheel Wedge (Pair) Black One Size" from Amazon. It is to slant the speakers ;)

How you are playing a backing track.
I played the backing track with my Studio monitors, but you can use the Red Sound as well.
