You are suppose to have a clamp in the box where the wire goes through so it doesn't rub, and short out on the meatal box. Just saying.

Could you tell me what size metal box you used for this ceramic fixture? I picked up the same one I believe at Lowes, says it mounts with a 3.25" or 4" box and neither fit for the mounting screws. They were both too small.

is the box to small or the screws to short

Can anything be done about the screws holding the bracket poking through the top of enclosure ceiling?

Depends what material you're using. I use 3/4inch Baltic Birch on my custom enclosures now and a 5/8th screw works great. But all depends on the thickness of material.

This is safe for heat bulbs? Or is it meant for just lighting the enclosure?

About 7 minutes and 7/8 seconds into the video she mentioned the example. She uses a regular bulb (example) then proceeded by saying "you'll have Your reptile heat bulb" in.
