loved steve's family house having a mexican family, stereotype of fixing up the house yourself, dogs and junk in the yard, having people rent rooms, share kitchen 😂
Omg, Bart and Geo and my husband and I live parallel lives, I swear. My husband was notorious for having friends over, but when it was his bed time, he would religiously start shaking everyone's hands and wish them a good night, then proceeded to washing his contact lenses and brushing his teeth and sleep. Once you saw his hand extend, it was game over 😅.
I've met two philipinos in my life...one used to be my dealer haha and was a fanatic basketball player..the other I met when we both where drafted in the army and he:..danced/played basketball/ and even sung hahahaha
I LOVED this video!! You guys really became vulnerable. I love to see it. " Oh, and you're reliable" 😂😂😂! My family is utter garbage. lmfaoooo! Oh... my.... God, my dad always said that phrase, why would you pay more for the same part of the cow? And we're Italian! 😂
White people with junk in the front yard. I have a neighbor down the block just like that. He remodeled his bathroom or something during the summer and brought out the old junk and placed it on his driveway. I thought he was gonna load it up and bring it to the dump site, but fall has passed and winter is almost over and it's still sitting in his driveway. Now I understand why there are HOAs in some places 😅
9:24 is so real. I was the only white kid at a Kumon. We all studied in one room but never spoke to each other. Because our faces were always facing our homework. Its always so strange hearing Ryans and Joes Seventh Day Adventist story. Lol, these guys got sold the wrong version of Christianity lol.
As a white person, yes, my parents saved the newspapers and the boxes. The saved newspapers were for, if we were doing arts and crafts to protect the table. For wrapping breakables, like glasses, etc. to put in boxes if/when we had the kitchen remodeled. And to put on the kitchen counter when my dad would filet the fish we caught while on vacation in Canada. Then you just roll up the fish mess and toss it in the trash. As to the boxes, some were saved in case any large item might need to be sent back or moved, or to store things, as previously mentioned. Or, and this one was my doing, saving the bigger boxes to rake the leaves into, to take to the leaf dump in the fall vs using a bunch of those paper leaf bags you have to pay for. The bigger boxes are easier to fill, hold more, and can be stored in the shed to use each year. And yes, I season the food I cook/bake. I have a couple of spice racks and my counter filled with different herbs and spices.
@@taoist32 That could very well be the case. In the 70's and 80's in was not uncommon to reuse things any way they could. Even jars and aluminum tins. And your comment reminded me, my mom was big on saving Time and National Geographic magazines.
tight Filipino stereotypes XD I was like hell yeah to the first part then I was like damn they said it again haha I guess it's really true. Seen it as well.
My piano teacher (Korean lady) taught me how to waltz to get the 3/4 count lol. It was my mom (also a Korean woman lol) who would hit my hand with a wooden spoon if I got an "attitude" if I had to practice with her 😅. And when they would say what time they were coming over, i would ask real or Filipino time lol
as a 5 year old i was given ping pong balls to keep in my hands when doing my scales to keep my hands up and fingers below my palms 😭 if i ever slipped up as in like high school my teacher changed it to tennis balls

I didn't know restaurants close so early in the US.. 8 30pm is closing time??
That's why chains like McDonald's, Burger Kings, etc. with 24 hr drive thrus are popular and convenient. Especially when traveling.
Night-time gets dangerous
Kaylene is JUST BLONDE

My dad loves hoarding shit, he has so much garbage, my mom has to sneakily throw it.
Anthony has a HOT SISTER (All Viets have a hot sister)
That makes so much sense what ryan said. That's why black people are so entertaining
I'm cheap on certain things. Holidays is just another day
I horde boxes when Christmas coming up. I find this episode very entertaining and educational. Please have more white folk guests and discussions.

I’m Chinese and my parents saved newspapers and old magazines. They used them for everything. It could be a generation thing and not an ethnic thing.

So true about filipino dads leaving their family to another woman. My dad’s 67 and he still went on for another woman 😂😅
My friends dad showed up 20 yrs later when he left his other family. They acted totally normal like it was another day
From my experience Filipino father's leave their family to be a migrant workers.
Ryan lookes cool please smoke
Growing up I used to make fun of the aunties and uncles who have a designated song that they haaave to sing at every party, but now I have one too lol
Joe is not the best driver.....
hoarding boxes is definitely not a white stereotype... my singaporean dad has been doing it for the past 30 years. We have boxes from 30 years ago.
Ditto my dad has boxes to cover each piece of lawn equipment the weed wacker box is from 1988
Ryan is SHORT
I'm Swedish. Our stereotype is probably that we are afraid of conflicts because how we have not been in a single war in 200 years.
