I think everyone did a very good job on this film, really captured a new Batman, a Batman who just started and hasn't figured it out quite yet, a Batman who is still learning how to be a detective, how to be a savior instead of a demon. I really need to see more of this story.
I agree especially a Batman who hasn’t developed the public “Bruce Wayne” persona just yet so he’s Batman 24/7
agreed, additionally I do really Love the larger focus on the detective aspects of it over the high scheme super villain. much as i love to see these super villains it's always a nice change of pace to have a significantly more grounded version of the batman world.

@@pinkzero281 liberal logic. Violence is definitely worse than a cigar. In Ghostbusters almost everyone smoked on screen. Yet parents complained (even though the movie was not intended to be for kids) and so I'm Ghostbusters 2 no one smokes on screen but Dan Akroyd chews on an unlit cigar. The Batman is not for kids either but you knew parents would bring them. It's PG-13 and the failings of parents should be blamed on the studio that rates it for teens and up by your logic.

i know one you didn't mention, the guy who plays the riddler is currently writing the origin backstory for his character in a dc comics mini series set to come out this year. it was talked about back in december on nerdist news and he made the annoucement about it on his twitter.
The 1st and 2nd issues of the comic's already out. And his name is Paul Dano lol

One of the best Batman films ever. It captures a young Bruce still learning the ropes, not yet “the world’s greatest detective” still making mistakes. I absolutely love the more grounded, realistic approach and neo-noir story that Reeves did. Love it!
Here’s one u missed, the clear frame glasses is a reference to Jim Carrey’s riddler from Batman Forever.

While I’m not particularly bothered by Penguin not smoking anything, and I know smoking is unhealthy, I think the reason WB said no to that is comically stupid.

Great video, but since I am an obsessive Batman fan, it's "A Serious House on *Serious* Earth". Also, it's pronounced Whitey BUHL-JER, with a "J" sound, not a "G" sound. Just nitpicks, is all. Well done, otherwise! I enjoyed it.
Aaron Taylor Johnson would have also made a great Batman. It's too bad he got hooked up with Sonys ridiculous universe of villains turned anti heroes as kraven. He definitely deserves a more prominent role or atleast another shot at quicksilver.

Because the original movie sounds So much better. I really liked this movie, but Batfleck at Arkham and a deathstroke showdown sounds 1000x better.

I think by comparing viewer reception alone you can see that the Batman is considerably more popular and well-liked. You need to make sure you pronounce names correctly. You butchered Geoff Johns name. Geoff is pronounced like Jeff. It is the original way of spelling it.
