My thoughts are with Tilly. My ex's dog only had approx 6 months to live due to tumors ( which were removed) That was 2 years ago. He's 15 yo now. He's on meds including the CBD and THC oils. He's happy and pain free, good appetite (due to the THC)😊 still loves life ( and telling off the pet goats) He's old but not ready to go. I believe Tilly will continue to do the same...because she has a wonderful loving family who adores, and dotes on her💖🙏🏼
Given the severity of the situation for a girl in the Autumn’ of her life, I think the outcome was pretty darn good news! Many might not have made it through the surgery let alone the potential of a couple more years. Her having a large pack and living family definitely gives her the motivation to keep going ❤

My Dixie (Tilly’s 11 year old American cousin, a red heeler) had surgery on her neck in August. She had a nerve sheath tumor that was growing around her artery in her neck. The Vet said it will come back within six months and it will come back with a vengeance. These girls are definitely tough. Praying that both live happy and longer than expected.

Just lost my senior cat to cancer two months ago, and I can sincerely sympathize with what you all are going through. Don’t despair Luke, this is what my beloved Henny had, she had a large part of her rear leg removed in summer (uk summer) 2019 and we were warned it was in other places and we were likely to lose her soon. Tumours popped up all over her, but she was full of life and love and happy, and so from that dreadful warning to the day the tumour took her spleen and she was put to sleep…we had four years and two months. Tilly is tough like my girl was, she’ll go when she’s ready And who knows how long that will be. The drugs cost, but we find a way. God bless Tilly and all of you xxxxxxxx love Hatty
