Max you should record your thoughts and memorable moments / early strategies and when the race is done release like a compilation of the progress you had to do and how the strategies evolved over time
PG: Fire Mage (Long range sniper, mobile) SG: Havoc DH (Just staight up bucket getter, low versatility) SF: Ret Pally (Can do everything, close or long ranged, medium sized boi) PF: Demonology Warlock (Low mobility but brings a lot to the team) C: Blood DK (Huge, can't move or be moved) 4 chips in 10 years with this squad
I feel like the dinars are coming so late because they're meant to be the "free spymaster" pass when you're full mythic geared and only missing one trinket.
Having long hair is actually so much work. I have like mid chest length hair and it takes literal hours to dry, I have to put it up otherwise it’s just everywhere and in the way, you have to wash it constantly or it gets gross. Unless you really like it it’s 100% not worth it lol
8 week cadence will just cause more and more issues, unless this mess is all the price of housing. Not sure how much I want to wait and find out when it leads to situations like Havoc on the current PTR, getting 0 updates 2 weeks in a row, 0 dev communication while being probably the most broken class
WoW players need to stop thinking in "feature X made feature Y worse". Beyond a reasonably small threshold, throwing more people into the mix has huge diminishing returns in engineering, design, etc. Either something is missing on macro level to accomodate this cadence, like multiple teams overlapping their "projects"; some essential roles are severely understaffed, like QA; or this is just a calculated risk. Either way, leadership made feature X worse, not feature Y.
Yeah it isn’t related to player housing at all. It’s what you said in the beginning, their new release cadence is not giving them nearly enough time to get to all of the important shit. They finally have devs that are doing class reworks often and paying attention to feedback more than we’ve ever seen in the past, and they decided to shorten the amount of time they have to get stuff done by months. There is absolutely no chance they get to everything important between raid/m+/pvp/class reworks in 2-3 months of PTR time. They even struggle with this in beta too. I can’t say for sure of course but maybe getting rid of one of the x.0.0 patches to extend ptr time would help.
I worry Dratnos has migraines with the pressing on the glabella (space between eyes) constantly. If that's true, let me pour out a glass for you, sir. Migraines are a debuff.
my wow spec starting 5 PG : any rogue spec or aug. rogues control over the paint would go paint would go crazy, real assist merchant, like 12+ assists per game. aug really bumps everyone up, improves everyones game, a real leader. not to mention their wings make them super quick and agile, layups all day. SG : fire mage. a cheat death makes it so he never loses the ball, crazy handles, and can score from almost anywhere on the paint, blinks would make him unguardable. SF: maybe ret pally. can do everything, gets huge buckets when needed, but can also play great defense, and can dish the rock whenever needed. a little slow, but can always get big bursts of speed and drive the lanes. PF: i got nothing here, so im gonna say some tank, maybe brew because of the agility, and stagger makes them unmovable from post. C: dratty cooked here, definitely blood dk. big body, sustain give him huge stamina, never moving him, could play all 48 minutes if you let him. gets every rebound. my creative writing piece for the year.
Dorkie saying that having longer hair is way more work than having shorter hair, is why I couldn't say I was being lazy in not cutting my hair lol. I had my hair down to my shoulders too recently, I think I went a year without cutting it
People fiend for LSF clips of Thor because he's smug and refuses to take accountability for anything, ever. Thats literally it. If you ever wanted to know what almost every gamer subconsciously HATES its: smug, no accountability, high horse riders. I don't even watch him and from like 4 clips it's blatantly obvious.
classes need to be their number one priority, people will play a shitty boss on a sick class but playing a shit class on an amazing boss feels horrible.
I had to pull my car over whilst driving. I know why Dratnos is so overgrown. He is now partaking in the Devil’s Lettuce. His response on dinar proves he is indeed high AF. 2 months in is fine. One item is not going to break the game when there are a great amount of exceptional items. Secondly, put an item on the vault that lets you upgrade an m+ item every two weeks to myth track. Players want deterministic ways to get loot!!
Is there a good argument against not having the dinar/BLP in the 2nd month of the raid tier? We're talking 2 months of raiding. For most players, thats a very long time spent within the raid, and not seeing the loot they're actually there for. In the last 4-5 years, most guilds I've been in, after the first 5-6 weeks, people really cba waiting on RNG to get that 1 item they seek. They ALL want to learn and play their specs with their actual BiS. Getting that BiS when the guilds are already on holiday helps no one. The "delay it till later" argument almost always comes from the mega hardcore who love the grind, for some reason.
For mid/late bosses on mythic 8 weeks in you might have only killed the boss once. Seems like a waste to only be excited for loot to drop on one kill of something. Dinars should be insurance for severe unlucky for last boss prog or title push, not as primary source of loot.
Well realistically the chances are you will use them on loot from the last 2 bosses or atleast 1 of them, two things you would have never had the chance to see mythic loot from prior regardless of whether you played or not so saying oh i dont wanna wait 5-6 weeks for rng is just cope because you wouldnt have got it either way, this just allows you to eventually get an item you didnt actually earn
I didn't get a haircut from covid to last october. had 2 feet of hair, and it was fucking awful. I liked having gorgeous locks, but washing it, drying it, putting it up, pulling hair out of my ass. It was too much man.
Max take on viewers for plunderstorm ain't it. Everyone was viewing pika and xaryu because they were actually amazing to watch. He says how they had as many wins leading up but ignored pika and xar had double the kills and pika was like the most clutch player through out.
28:40: You should see the current drama with Yamato. It's funny how he antagonizes everyone and does things arguably comparable to PirateSoftware but the latter gets scrutinized by the internet. Mind you I think both are in the wrong and both are egotistic, but it's definitely one of those situations where these personality types actually inflame one another. EDIT: oh nevermind its mentioned at 31:24
The war within dungeons have a bunch of problems? Color me fucking surprised lol they were clearly gonna be dogshit in m+ from day 1 way before we had the m+ version. Its the same situation as dragonflight... and shadowlands... blizzard dont learn their lesson and just stick to this shitty nerf-over-time philosophy for the season instead of just making it fun.
I'm sure this mythic raid will be the one to break the trend and won't be another overtuned mess designed to be cleared in exactly 10 days by people who have personal chefs, massive venues and weakaura developers on staff... I'm sure Blizzard won't take 3 months to tune the fights for normal people who have m{ngs in their raids who die 200 times to the same thing xD All I see from every raid is the months of torment just so I can have the gear I need to give me the best chance to push for an M+ title... YAY!
Dude, after i got out of the army in 09 I refused to cut any hair for years. Grew my head hair almost to my butt and had a gigga beard. After than much shaving for that many years... Nah, we goin natural.
What, are you guys saying the "quality" of the patches is going down in the last few years?? How could that happen? Not like Blizzard fired most of their "quality" assurance team, right??
Not sure it even has anything to do with that. Or maybe that’s a small part of it, but I think it’s mostly that this is the fastest release cadence we’ve ever seen in WoW. Way less time in between patches now, and that’s clearly having a bad effect on the dev team. Imagine trying to get all issues with classes/m+/raid/new zone systems/pvp fixed and completed in 2-3 months. That’s insane, and it’s why they skip over classes that need reworks or adjustments every cycle because they just can’t get to everything. They finally have devs and leadership listening to players and doing far more reworks every patch than we’ve ever seen before and at the same time they shortened the amount of time they have to get to everything every testing cycle, should’ve been the opposite.
dinars at least 4 months are still good.. i still dont have the stupid gale of shadows on 2 characters at this point in the season.. wish it was sooner though
18:30 I disagree, I have been watching Apex Legends and its the most entertaining of all the competitive esports I've watched, over CS, Valorant, Dota2 etc. Unless you mean Plunderstorm Battle Royale isn't built for esports then ignore me :D
Massive disagree. CS is definitely better as a watching experience... so are league and dota for sure. Those 3 are esports kings for good reasons. Apex would have way way way more viewers if it was nearly as good to watch but it doesnt play or watch at the same level at all for a majority of gamers
Have tested the whole raid. It's very, very cool. It's also way too hard for mortals. This will be one of the coolest RWFs yet. It will also be one of the worst tiers to prog ever, at the current rate.
And me thinking i was going to raid, this just looks dump af, there is literally sh*t everywhere at all times... They fell into the same patterns the past few expansions when they could make them challenging enough with different type of mechanics than projectile, AoE, ground effects. I don't know make player use one of these Mech, reverse the roles make dps's healing with their abilities and healer be damage dealers with a modifier of 5000% i don't know i am inventing on the spot, there is so many idea to make it fun and challenging.
Palace had one of the highest pull counts ever for world first guilds and it’s on pace to have more than 2000 guilds get cutting edge. There is absolutely good reasons to believe blizzard will tune the raid properly in time.
@@kylechermak7092 You do realize this tier has until recently had one of the lowest clear rates by time in tier relative to boss count ever, even with Finery, right? The only reason it's returning somewhat to normal numbers is because a ton of guilds are abusing Roaring-Queens Citrine right now.
4 months of raiding for a mount XD and puging 2850 with those dungeons like rookery or darkflame... no thx... also 0 content for gold makers, no new materials nothing
You guys have no idea how excited I am to watch the Poddy C
Max you should record your thoughts and memorable moments / early strategies and when the race is done release like a compilation of the progress you had to do and how the strategies evolved over time
"why are you so overgrown" what a question max lmao
I thought the same thing lmao
Turbonormie track
The basketball question as a non basketball enthusiast was excellent and Max's insight was delightful.
PG: Fire Mage (Long range sniper, mobile)
SG: Havoc DH (Just staight up bucket getter, low versatility)
SF: Ret Pally (Can do everything, close or long ranged, medium sized boi)
PF: Demonology Warlock (Low mobility but brings a lot to the team)
C: Blood DK (Huge, can't move or be moved)
4 chips in 10 years with this squad
long range sniper is usually the SG
@@Aggrofool current NBA that isn't the case thanks to Steph Curry. Dame, Lamelo, Trae, Haliburton, etc
I agree with this team would sweep max’s team best of 7
I’m into this but I like disc as PG and fire mage moves to SG.
I feel like the dinars are coming so late because they're meant to be the "free spymaster" pass when you're full mythic geared and only missing one trinket.
Piratenos is almost back
As a massive basketball fan the basketball comparison segment went hard lol. Love it

I loved the starting 5 question as one of the few people that love the NBA and WoW…… Aug is the point guard btw.
Aug is closer to Draymond Green utility forward. Highly impactful, makes everyone better, but impossible to see in stats logs.
@ you know what, I hate you. You make too much sense. 😂
QOTD: Mm at the 1, fury at the 2, fire mage 3, havoc dh at the 4, and mist weaver 5
I can’t believe the poddyC would just leak the m+ meta comp 2 months in advance like this
6:23 Max chill on this, they have an order in the Dungeon journel for a reason. They're being raid tested in the same order.
Hell yeah, waiting days for this one.
My brain is so taxed - max playing wow lmfao 😂
I feel like people are missing the joke of it being called the “incontinental hotel” lol
I love being incontinent
Max... you know ball. That segment owned.
Dorki's picture this week LMAO
I learned more about basketball in the last 60 seconds than I've learned in the previous 30 years.
Imagine playing wow for a job and complaining about 'stuck in raid plans for 8 hours' jokes 😂
I worry Dratnos has migraines with the pressing on the glabella (space between eyes) constantly. If that's true, let me pour out a glass for you, sir. Migraines are a debuff.
my wow spec starting 5

SF: maybe ret pally. can do everything, gets huge buckets when needed, but can also play great defense, and can dish the rock whenever needed. a little slow, but can always get big bursts of speed and drive the lanes.
PF: i got nothing here, so im gonna say some tank, maybe brew because of the agility, and stagger makes them unmovable from post.
C: dratty cooked here, definitely blood dk. big body, sustain give him huge stamina, never moving him, could play all 48 minutes if you let him. gets every rebound.
my creative writing piece for the year.
Dratty looks great with the overgrowth tbh.
he looks alot better with a beard. if he trimmed it up and shaped it a lil bit, it would look great
Sounds like raid has a Highmaul layout
I tried some bosses on PTR and I had a lot of fun. Of course the balance was horrible. But they still have time to fix it.
For the basketball question. For me it would be
PG - MW Monk
SG - Enhance Shaman
SF - Moonkin / Feral
PF - Ret Pally
C - Blood DK
If the design and tuning of the new raid is similar to what it was on PTR, it'll slaughter regular mythic guilds.
We need a Dorki pic desperately
Dorkie saying that having longer hair is way more work than having shorter hair, is why I couldn't say I was being lazy in not cutting my hair lol. I had my hair down to my shoulders too recently, I think I went a year without cutting it
7 years here and definitely more work
Now win an MDI and/or TGP with the starting 5.
Glad we’re talking about wow again but man the game feels so dead 😩
Now let's see a high key push group with that wowba team
Max........ how is Shadow Priest (PI) or Aug not the Point Guard?
Not having a colossus warrior at 5 is criminal
I'm not convinced Dratnos has ever seen a basketball game if he thinks Steph Curry is a 4.
Would love to be hype for the patch, but M+ looks like it´s gonna get even worse somehow.
“Max has made the list. Hope it was worth it” -pirate probably 30:36

Max rode that horse a bit too high on his LSF take tbh
Buddy complaining about raid testing to a bunch of dudes who work for a living and play the game for free 😂 lol
I personally think Dr Atnos looks better than ever. Don't change a thing. The natural look is working. Watch out for this one, ladies
I have Ret Pally at the 3 and then whichever mage spec at the 2 😂
is it just me or are these poddy c's getting shorter and shorter?
classes need to be their number one priority, people will play a shitty boss on a sick class but playing a shit class on an amazing boss feels horrible.
Max didnt even mention best part of that pirate software lsf clip about him saying the line "I wOrKeD aT BlLiZarD"
Dratnos intros best intros

Players want deterministic ways to get loot!!
Not including hero talent trees in the patreon question. Or races and also how do you not add colossus warrior in there somewhere
Listening to max talk about rwf i dont understand how anyone wants to do that except for people like him making tons of money from it

Wow i can't believe Dratonos and Dorki are american and don't know the basketball positions thats crazy to me
Dratnos starting to look like Asmon Classic
Dude called evoker with bad range a stretch 4. Then said some people probably learned something about basketball.
shadow priests still crying in a corner, neglected forever
Yup, pirate is a hack. But did you know he worked at Blizzard?
Why doesn't dratnos get invited to plunder
I didn't get a haircut from covid to last october. had 2 feet of hair, and it was fucking awful. I liked having gorgeous locks, but washing it, drying it, putting it up, pulling hair out of my ass. It was too much man.
hello poddy
Max clearly stressed to retain title

I mean my guilds still working on ansurek lol
im in the poddy bathroom

PODDY HELLO
No Dratnos! Not the beard! It really suits you
I am begging that the thumbnails get some updated photos. Or alternatively to continue to bit of old photos, just use ones from as old as possible
I heard tyler1 is joining liquid
Demon hunter at 1 is the most L take of all time. Tim Duncan at 4 = Pres evoker is a big W

First.
no one was pro Elon except the trash tier humans
rent-free
Raid looks like mech vomit and will be horrible for everyone but the two guilds they are made for.

It's also way too hard for mortals. This will be one of the coolest RWFs yet. It will also be one of the worst tiers to prog ever, at the current rate.

yall fighting too hard to not try classic out
Everyone in this podcast has played classic before.
What is there to try out? It’s a solved game.
