i developed the first version of this year... bringing old memories
Would this be good for a garage?
Nice review. Many reviewers talk too fast or don't modulate the volume of their voice very well and trail off at the end of a sentence. You didn't, and I appreciated that. Of course I threw away the instructions so I didn't even know those little louvers moved up and down.
Also, does this automatically shut itself off after 8 hours? I don't leave it on during the night, but noticed it had turned itself off yesterday. I Googled it and it said it does turn itself off, but I want to make sure I am reading it correctly and it applies to THIS type of heater. Thanks
I found one of those by the dumpster about four months ago. It works great! Only problems are missing remote and missing filter cover. Mine is the “motion heat” without the “plus.”
Thank you so much for making this video it helped a lot
This is a great heater, I’ve had mines for a few years now.

I just bought this heater a few days ago, it really works!!! thx 4 the upload! By the way, I really liked the purple lamps?! Could you share where did you got those?
The exact lamp we have is not for sale anymore. I would choose a lamp that is NOT dimmable: amzn.to/364QtxF and put one of these bulbs in it: amzn.to/30Ag4xy The key is the lamp is not dimmable itself as that can ruin the led bulbs. The bulb is more expensive than others, but far worth it if you want the colors to be nice and bright. We've tested different ones and these are by far the best (in terms of colored light output). Glad you like the heater!
how is the electric bill ?
Awesome Video just got one very informative
I just ordered mines from Costco hopefully it’ll keep my living room warmer. I have a previous version of the lasko heater at a lower wattage but it’s not strong enough for my living room so hopefully this will do the job.
We hope it works great for you!
How much u pay for it at costco
Great video
Some people complained about the noise and the plastic smell!!!
😱☝🏻
Not sure if that was due to defective units as we don't have those issues. It makes the typical noise we expect from a heater like this.
So I just got this right but I’ll like too keep it still on a level like for example I’ll like too keep it on 80-90 high all the tile but it goes down too a 63 how can I make it manually the heat level ? Please get back too me ,
Can u reply to this comment
I got this at Costco this week. I have used Lasko heaters before. This one I set it up to the desired temperature, but it doesn't stop there when reaching it. It keeps going higher... Am I doing something incorrectly, or this heater doesn't have that feature? Then why has a temperature reader then? I'm confused.
From my understanding the h1, h2, h3 is what controls the heat temperature and the auto eco temperature is for when u want auto adjusted temperature. It also confuses me as to why they allow you to adjust the temperature in this setting if it's gonna auto adjust itself anyway.
@@OMGfan85 How do you like yours? I bought the Presto Heat Dish from Costco but you have to have it pointed directly at you if you want to feel any heat. Any body part that is not in direct alignment with or facing the heat dish will still be cold... like a hand, feet, or the side of your body that is not facing the dish. It's weird, like a projector or laser with linear trajectory... you would think it would heat up the surrounding area, but it doesn't much at all! I was thinking about returning it and getting this Lasko instead.
Lindsay I've had it for a while now and love it so far. I don't know much about heaters so I can't say if it's the best but it works very well better than my last heater. It heats my entire small square room in 30 minutes. The only issue with it is the topic of this thread which is the auto eco feature but it's not a big deal to me i just don't use the feature.
I have that problem and that's why I'm looking at reviews of it cause I'm tryna get something better. I shouldn't have to wake up hot every night. I set it to 71 and it ends up going up to 74 or 75 in the room
Here's how Auto Temp works. The heater will START at 1 degree below the set point, and STOP two degrees above it. For example, say we set the heater to 75. The heater will stop at 77, and start back up again at 74. It's so the heater doesn't constantly cycle on and off again, but still keeps you in a comfortable temperature range.
Hello, mine only started working in Eco Mode . Any tips? On how to fix this
We’re sorry to hear that. I would try and contact the company.
Do you have to do anything to sync the remote with the heater? I put the batteries in the remote and it turns on but it doesn’t control anything on the heater
Hello! Not that we know of. I would contact Lasko to see if they can help.
Is the remote supposed to turn oscillation on and off? Just go this heater and that is the only problem?
The bottom left button on the remote makes ours oscillate.
Hi looking got portable battery operated heater
Where is the link to the heater?
Hey Alan. Amazon is currently out of the exact model we have. This one appears to have the same features amzn.to/2GQaz5N Thanks for watching!
It’s not a clicking button, it’s a touch sensitive button yall
What are the BTU and square Footage???
The majority of space heaters similar to this are 1500 watts. Therefore 1500 * 3.41 = 5115 BTUs. Good for a room approximately 150 square feet with 8 foot ceilings and good insulation.
"1500 watts of comforting warmth" isn't a frigging measurement!
