I think the most difficult thing about this for us (the audience/fans) and for Whitney was that you can clearly tell she knew what she wanted her voice to do. The choices were thoughtful. Every vocal intention- the runs, the phrasing, the emotion. It was all there in her mind and in her body. But, her voice just could not carry out the task. That must have been incredibly frustrating!

She really shouldn't have been onstage during this sad time in her life. She gave it a try but seriously, her skills had diminished so much,, that she could only do shortcut runs....many of those off key. Those of you who praise her performance, are wrong. Praise her for trying, ok, but let's not be delusional.
The record company should never of allowed her to do these concerts. It's sad and pitiful to watch and hear. Terrible waste of a born true singer that was one in a billion. Miss Whitney

This is about the 10-th video I've watched here on UA-cam of Whitney's tours and how bad her voice is sounding on each one. I agree, those goddamn pauses drives me crazy and she does this on each video as well. I really believe it gives her a minute to collect herself and to give her damaged lungs/throat a rest. For some reason, she thinks it builds a certain climax to her songs.....it doesn't. It's a cop-out.
