Heartbreak Hotel is one is my favorites. The harmony between Whitney Houston, Faith Evans and Kelly Price is INSANE. Their voices blend together so well!
oh I am so glad you did some more whitney! her voice and delivery is so amazing, she had a God given gift for sure that cuts right to so many people's hearts. and your face would be beautiful in a close up shot like Whitney's, Bryson, don't ever think otherwise, you have a great heart and I always feel God's great love towards you! you are specially created in His Sight, we all have things we have to overcome in life, but you are a one of a kind creation of His Hand and I pray for you often! keep your awesome tenderness! thanks for the great reactions and your face says what we all feel when Whitney sings!! ❤❤❤
To think George and Whitney sang together and they are both gone to soon, they both had beautiful voices. Her voice is outstanding such beauty love Run to you ♥️
It’s Not Right was such a massive hit over here in the UK. As soon as it came on in the gay clubs it’s was attitude central on the dance floor. Epic 🕺💃🕺💃🕺🥳😆 Check out I Learned from The Best
Yes it was dam I miss them days when you went to The gay clubs the thunderpuss remix was blasting and every drag queen had to routine to it’s not right but it’s ok.
Where Do Broken Hearts Go was Whitney's 7th #1 single in a row. Breaking the Beatle's record of 6. She later said she didn't like the song at first and didn't want to record it but it did become one of her favorite songs to perform live. You should check out her live performance of this from Freedom Fest. One of my favorite performances of hers. I remember when MTV had the world premiere of the video! I think it was the same night I was watching The Cosby Show and Lisa Bonet was wearing the exact same top as Whitney (The off the shoulder black and white top) Lisa was wearing jeans with it.
I know that I Will Always Love You is the universal Whitney song but O. M. G. Run To You is still my all-time fave, hits me right in the heart every time. It clearly moved you too Bryson. Hope you recovered lol, so glad you've experienced it. 💖💖💖
One of the greatest singers of all time.....I suggest you react to her live performance of "I Believe in You and Me" on Saturday Night Live in the mid-90s. My favorite performance of hers
Its Not Right is part of the soundtrack of my life. A bff was playing this non-stop because she knew her bloke was cheating on her and wasn't at the point where she could confront him yet. Run To You is my fave of the three. If you haven't seen The Bodyguard, you should do a movie review. Great soundtrack and Whitney looks stunning.
If you haven't seen Brandy and Whitney's version of Cinderella on Disney Plus, it's an absolute must. It's easily one of the best versions out there. Fun Fact: The guy who directed Chicago was the choreographer on it. Oh, and the rest of the cast is divine.
I was a massive fan, l remember l was on the front row at Earls Court,London. Not only Beautiful she was also very talented !! She was a big hit in the film "BODYGUARD" she could act and with Kevin Coster they made a film ,including some great songs. R.I.P Whitney.🇬🇧🏴 please don't put yourself down in regards too your looks !
You Probably Didn't Know That Whitney Houston Grew Up In A Musical Family. Her Mother Cissy Houston Is A Gospel Singer Who Sang Background Elvis Presley & Aretha Franklin.
Whoa whoa! I was not ready for this round! Boy, you knocked me out 😇💪💪 We're going down Whitney Alley today 💪💪🥰🥰🥰👍 Oh, wait till you hear Thunderpuss Club Remix for 'It's not right, but it's ok' it'll blow your mind 🌞🤗 ps. I have just checked with the CD single and the remix is Thunderpuss 2000 Club Mix and it runs 9.14 🐶
Hi, PMD… Each time I watch one of your reaction videos, I think to myself, he sounds like the sweetest person. You are well loved by Jesus Christ. Not only does He love you but He’s in love with you. Take care of yourself and thank you for the Music.💜💜💜 Rest in peace, Whitney.
You need to listen to Gabriel Enrique’s cover of Run TO You, which he actually does in the same key as Whitney. Phenomenal whistle tones. Do his earlier version, not the more recent version he does in his car. You will be shocked.
You should react to her hardest songs such as; Im your baby tonight (1990 official music video) I will always love you(1992 official music video) Didn't we almost have it all(1987 official video) You're stil my man(Audio Studio) Performances; Greatest love of all(1990 Arista Record) All the man that I need(Arsenio Hall) I am changing Audio Live(San Fransisco 1986)-Arguablly one of her best performance
"Heartbreak Hotel" is special to me because that was Whitney's "My Love Is Your Love" era and it felt like a really magical time musically for her. "It's Not Right But It's Okay" is actually more familiar to me as a remix than the original; they played the hell out of the Thunderpuss 2000 Club Mix. Whenever you get a chance, check that one out. Whitney won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance as well (for the original). "Run to You" never fails to give me chills. I was old enough to be aware of her fame by that point, and I remember "The Bodyguard" turning out to be a big deal. "Where Do Broken Hearts Go?" was elevated simply because The Voice and the delivery. It's a cute song but in the grand scheme she just has way better in her discography. For a part 2, please react to "My Love Is Your Love," "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)," "Could I Have This Kiss Forever (with Enrique Iglesias)," and "Count on Me (with CeCe Winans)."
The Bodyguard was originally supposed to star Diana Ross and Ryan O’Neal. The two began having an affair in 1979 when he pursued her for the film. She dragged out her complaints about the script for months then eventually told him no. He got so upset with the “diva” way she went about rejecting the film that he broke it off with her. The film was eventually canceled until Kevin Costner got ahold of it and thought Whitney would be great for the role. The original script was set in the 70’s. This accounts for why the overall theme of the film was relatively dated and overly simplistic for a 90’s movie. It likely contributed to why the film bombed at the box office. The soundtrack, however, is one of- if not the greatest soundtrack of all time. “Run to you” was the fourth single off the soundtrack. Whitney got pregnant while filming the movie but had a miscarriage. She got pregnant a second time after the film was completed-much to the dismay of her manager, Clive Davis. They had to film 5 music videos for the soundtrack in a short period of time before Whitney went on maternity leave. It was interesting to see the clever ways they attempted to both conceal and accentuate Whitney’s pregnancy. For the “I will always love you” video, she sat for the entirety of the runtime watching a screen with movie scenes. For the “I’m every woman” video, dancers and artists who were in a nearby studio were asked to join the set when Whitney’s set time had to be cut to accommodate her pregnancy(this explains how TLC randomly ended up in the video). For the “I have nothing” video, Whitney was mostly shot from the chest up while scenes from the movie are spliced in. For “run to you,” they used the actual scenes of the fictional music video for the song in the movie and coupled it with close up shots of a very pregnant Whitney’s face. The skinny Whitney running and skinny face close up were from the movie. The 5th and final video from the soundtrack is actually the funniest. It was for a song called “Queen of the night.” They used the actual performance of the song that was featured in the film then filmed a very pregnant Whitney in her a similar outfit to the character’s costume. The contrast between the skinny Whitney from the film and the larger very pregnant Whitney wearing a similar outlandish costing is seamlessly blended in the most humorous way. If you haven’t heard “Queen of the night,” you should check it out. I think you’ll love it. The very first ever Whitney Houston song ever released was a duet with soul singer, Teddy Pendergrass called “Hold me.” It’s a hauntingly beautiful love song which features two of the most incredible singing voices ever. Also check out arguably her best or one of her best vocal performances in the song “You’re still my man.” At the 1994 AMA she performed a medley of 3 of the toughest songs ever recorded back to back: “I loves you Porgy,” “and I am telling you” and her own “I have nothing.” It’s 10 minutes of pure genius and orgasmic vocal delight.
Can you please check out Brandy! Her vocals are amazingly insane! Check out…..Right here departed, Have you ever, Sitting up in my room. She is sooooooo Underrated
Heartbreak Hotel is one is my favorites. The harmony between Whitney Houston, Faith Evans and Kelly Price is INSANE. Their voices blend together so well!
Ballad Whitney is EVERYTHING. (Sidenote Kevin Costner wanted her to be in the Bodyguard, no one else.. and spoke at her funeral. 💕😭😭)

@@priscilabee583 it was both. They played the original in the middle of the set and the dance version towards the end of the night
