while this movie looks really good, it's clear they kind of punted on being very realistic because they wanted both side to watch the movie. if it was clear that this was a Red Vs. I'm not American. I am Spanish, but we also suffered a civil war in 1936, where brothers killed each other. The trailer has shocking moments, like simply the flag with only 2 stars, or the moment when it asks "what kind of American are you?" Despite not seeming like a really deep movie, it does seem very promising and interesting, so I will definitely watch it.
I'm an American and our country did have a Civil War from 1861-1864. The entire South, including Texas, declared themselves as an independent country called the Confederate States of America. Brother against Brother. Father against Son. Americans against Americans.

You can even look at the map made as promotional material for the movie and it says that “Republic of California” and “Second Republic of Texas”. You can even look at the map made as promotional material for the movie and it says that “Republic of California” and “Second Republic of Texas”. My partner and I are Canadian and just watched this last night and the fact that we could both look at each other and be equally unsurprised if this was to actually happen in the US today says a lot.

That couldn't have been a more lame and cowardly way to neutralize the politics of this movie entirely if they tried. The movie sucked.
