Great video boys. Excellent content. It’s nice that you are both taking advantage of the current technology to store and document your card collections. As you know, I collected Barry Bonds pieces EXCLUSIVELY for 35 years and was a completist. During that time I accumulated 9,500 different Bonds pieces. In order to consolidate my collection, I stored all of my cards (including low serial numbered and certified auto cards) in 9-pocket Ultra Pro pages. I had a different binder for each year. Fortunately, I placed each card in a penny sleeve before inserting them in the 9- pocket pages. This helped to provide the cards with additional protection. This is why many of these cards are receiving such high grades. One last tip. If you secure your cards in a safe or small tight container, I recommend adding a desiccant to absorb moisture. Unchecked moisture will lead to mold which can ruin cards (even those cards which have been slabbed). Love, Dad
Great point! My Apache case came with a silica gel packet inside which I’m keeping in there for that exact purpose! I often times think of your Bonds PMGs just sitting in ultra-pro 9-pocket pages… 😂
Glad you like it, Lou Rok! That’s a tribute to Dwayne, our elementary school bus driver! He was a unique guy who may have had a few screws loose, but he was enthusiastic, good natured, and got us to and from school safely every day, so there’s that! 😂
Between display, spreadsheets, and website- collection management is one of my favorite things about the hobby! Well done fellas, enjoyed it as always!
Oh, absolutely! Some may find managing, cataloging, and documenting to be tedious, but honestly, it’s a fun way to relax and spend time enjoying your collection without having to spend money! 😂 It just doesn’t make for the most interesting UA-cam content! 😅😭 Thanks for watching, Jake!
When I lived in a tiny apt (I stress tiny). I had my entire pc in a giant dresser…. I bought a digital picture frame, did pics, and made slides that I had it cycling through pics 24/7.
I’m def testing the card room. Always wanted one. I like the museum feel. We will see if I get bored or not. I have a few slab binder pages and such. Q for the preza. If you throw a bgs in there does it stretch the plastic where the page can only be bgs?
It pained me to hear all the work you do to catalog your collection. Everything you do can easily be done through the PSA registry. Cards can be added by scanning the bar code or entering the cert #. You can add photos, or use the ones taken by PSA. It updates price and pop data. You can export the inventory to a spreadsheet. And it’s available on a desktop or mobile app so you can take it with you to shows. I know a lot of collectors poo-poo it because they see it as a way to compete with our collections, but it’s the easiest way to maintain a collection. I have 1,800 slabs and it makes life so easy.
I appreciate the input here, and hopefully eBay can do some of the heavy lifting here as far as tracking purchase date, amount, and tracking current market values. Can you add non-PSA slabbed cards to the PSA registry? What about ungraded cards in a MagPro or top-loader? My entire collection is not slabbed, and certainly not in all PSA slabs, so this may not be feasible for my specific collection. Thanks for the suggestions though!
Neat topic guys!! Enjoy your discussion!! Keep up the great content!!
Thanks for watching, Ken! Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow! Another acronym to add to the list! Thanks, Mookie!!
😂 thanks Mook! Love the new metric… is this the YT equivalent of WAR? 🤔
@iconic_baseball More like OPS+ as it’s not a counting statistic. 😂😂😂
@ yes - I just ran the numbers, my UPOIPS is sitting at -.0000764
I didn’t realize UPOIPS could be negative! 😂😂😂

I have CIS also and I also HATE paying it lol
@@billthehofcollector4525 Nope, the prezas fit BGS just fine without stretching. Thanks for tuning in Bill!
@ are the pages removable, like if the sheet is scratched or tears?
@@billthehofcollector4525 nope, unfortunately the pages aren’t removable.
