Yesterday I was headed for the hospital because of my blood pressure unless God helped me. I rested on the bed and played this and other songs about the blood. By bedtime my blood pressure was 119/71. Thanks to Jesus for taking those stripes and for these wonderful songs.
Praise God, I have being praying and waiting for a lowered blood pressure. I believe the power of healing will come to me in the same manner. Thank you for sharing this, glory to God!
This song is very special to me. I sang it when I was, at the time, dieing on a hospital bed. Both ankles broken, both tibia bones broken, left femur bone broken, a ruptured aorta vien, burns and many more complications. Jesus had mercy on me and loved me so much he's givin me a second chance to make things right. Because as much respect I have for doctors, they can only do so much. But Jesus Christ. He is the true healer. Not only of the physical harm but emotionally, spiritually. Thank you Jesus.

O, the Blood of Jesus was a popular worship song. It was written by Ivan Parker in Italian and he translated it himself. It was written on New Years Day of 1988. I had gotten into deeper sin than I intended in 1987 and Ivan wanted to comfort me that I could be forgiven and be restored. Nothing But the Blood is an old hymn written by Charles Wesley. He had an illegitimate son he didn't know about He eventually married the mother of his son when the boy was about 12 years old. Near the Cross was another old hymn. It was written by Fannie J. Crosby and it is written in Frisian rather than in English.
