Not just because we love to hear your voice and see your videos, but because we know how hard it is to feel useless and not be able to do what you love. Yes, I did the math for the Haunter fight.
The chance for the Haunter to hit all four of its hypnoses and all three of its confuse rays against maximum evasion is 0.00552% chance. That is a 1/18116 chance *I think*. The numbers are crazy for something like this (assuming I did the math right)!
Also, welcome back! I missed you so much! Seeing your videos always make my day, so I thank you!
Edit: I forgot to mention how much I love the Khimyra ads. Something about MDB's voice makes it an extra experience that I don't want to miss out on, and besides, Khimyra is awesome for how they work with MDB.

I adore that both you and your doctor support the at-home exercises and routines for symptom relief. It's something more people should hear about, that it doesn't take a chiropractor or physical therapist to help you feel better when you're in a funky situation. More than happy to see you getting back into the groove, and glad you didn't promise another episode. You pace yourself as much as you need to, and we'll all be here, ready to watch another great video and give you all the love we have to share. ^w^

    • @shadowfoxgirl
      @shadowfoxgirl Рік тому +1

I don't understand why you would say that only the doctor would be supportive of at-home exercise? A physical therapist is there to help you make a proper at-home exercise regiment for symptom relief, that's a huge part of their job. In fact that is pretty much what you go to them for. They assess you, teach you exercises and proper technique, tell you to do it every day that you feel you can, then come back and do it all again. As you get better they give you different exercises to add and up the numbers of reps you do or the weight you use. They are a great option for people who get injuries they have no idea how to fix at home or for people like me who were so weak and in pain that I couldn't do the exercises that 'normal' people could do. Trying to do regular exercises was hurting me worse in many ways. I wouldn't go around discrediting them when they are just there to help. Also my chiropractor fixed my neck and lower back in like 5 weeks with only 1 session a week and I haven't been back for 5 months. He was super happy to help and encouraged me to keep following the at home regiment the PT suggested so that I wouldn't have to see him again unless I injured myself.

It might just be me, but in a situation of Pokemon that have the other option be "Egregiously overlevel", a naturally learned evasion move is fair game. However if it was a TM move or you had clear other options it'd be less ideal to watch. Also even more so, until you're fully recovered, don't worry about using strategies to make it easier on you. It'd open up for revised run videos.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. A suggestion for your Autofire problem with the emulator.
I suppose you already heard or read this in the comment section, but in the case I'm the first one: I solved the problem by using a controller that already has the Autofire button mode in its functions. Mine is a cheap and not very famous brand but is very well functioning, wireless and definitely a reliable tool.
If nothing else seems to solve the problem with the emulator, this is the best other possible solution.

    Glad to have you back!
I will say there's a few TMs laying around that would have helped you quite a bit though, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower are available as soon as you get surf at the windworks and Fuego ironworks respectively, you can also drop Ice Beam any time you do a Candice fight as there's a stray TM on top of the rock climb wall as soon as you exit Mt Coronet into the snow area that you can get as soon as you beat her.
Hope that helps with any future platinum runs!

Something that might work as a stop gap for mashing is rebinding to the triggers/bumpers if your controller has them, let you use 3 different fingers for mashing. (I feel you with that, I'm always conscious of carpel tunnel myself)

You know that scene from the Sonic 2 Movie where Agent Stone gets the message from Eggman and yells "He's baaaaaaaack!" That was me when I saw this video pop up. Here's to a speedy recovery and hopefully a faster Canadian health system Mr. Bread.

Man, it has been a while BUT IT IS SO GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK! To help support during your time away I watched every Pokemon Challenge you have done THREE TIMES OVER!! Well not watched, but listened while I am washing an infinite number of dishes at work. I even referred back to this videos for some tricks while doing some playthroughs of my own.
It is amazing that you still have Chimera supporting you and actually checking on you! That is incredible! Try fi ding that level of service any place else and you would not get it!
Super looking forward to more videos, no matter how long it takes!
    WE LOVE YOU!

    Math time!
In Platinum, Hypnosis had a 60% chance of hitting (unlike a lot of other Gen 4 where it was 70%).
In Gen 4, maxed out evasion means moves have a 33% chance of hitting (if it normally had 100% accuracy before).
Combine the two to get this: 60% * 33% = 20% chance of hitting hypnosis on a Pokemon with max evasion.
Doing this 4 times in a row is as simple as raising that to the power of 4, for these 4 independent events happening in a row.
    20% ^ 4 = 0.16% chance, or a 1 in 625 chance of this happening.

    Hey Dry Bread,
I remember first watching your series on Resident Evil 5 (wow, what a terrible game) with your buddy Brandon, and I gotta say, you are a diamond in the rough when it comes to content.
I don't have any money to give you, but its nice to see that you're back!
Your fans are with you, no matter the breaks. Please remain safe!
