Syntac never fails to amaze me with the builds he does every time, while improving and coming up with new techniques every time as well. Makes me feel self conscious about my building skills lol
That looks absolutely fantastic! I was thinking you could use spiral staircases to get from floor to floor because I didn’t like the idea of Tek elevators mixing with the castle pieces, but they actually work really well together. As for the dedicated storage on the triangle pieces, you can attach ceiling pieces to the walls and snap the boxes to them, then stack them to the floor and get rid of the ceiling pieces. You can check out what Evo and Heather have been doing in their latest streams to see what I mean. Their Tek base used that technique for their dedicated storage. I can’t wait to see how you fill this place up. I’m definitely going to be building my own base similar to this. Put my own spin on it. And I don’t think there are too many arrow slots in the middle tower, but that’s just a personal preference.
This castle-ish building is absolutely beautiful. I always loved your building Syntac, but as I got the first impression and saw the first frame of this one, I absolutely fell in love. Keep ur stunning and entertaining way of doing those videos for us. Take your time, don't overwork or exhaust yourself. Looks fantastic. If you don't have plans for a separate building, you should make one of the towers your greenhouse/kitchen area. It could look nice decorating the battlement areas with citronal/savoroot & tucking the other crops into the triangle plots. Then, set up a maewing kibble farm on the first floor if you didn't want to build up another massive farm with your kitchen.
That’s one of the best ark builds I’ve ever seen. You put yourself down on building so much, but I think the days of average building are well and truly behind you man!
Love the build its very detailed. I think it would look even better with pillars coming from the central tower, so that there is a good transition from the main section and the tower.
35:20 if you look closely, you can see, in the very middle of the screen, just above Syntac's griffin, that a specific part of the castle looks like a face. the pillar holding onto the tower if the nose, and the two spaces he left open on either side of the pillar are the eyes. i legit cannot unsee this now... Great castle tho, very very nice

Looks good now put up lights and utilities like a bed and teleporter plus access to the water (ramp). Also Giant Dino gate in the Arch plus a little wall will keep the gigas from wandering into your base. To be funny tame Piranna's and breed them up then stock the lake with agro Fish. Castle Syntac of course is the only name you should consider.

I am completely awestruck. To call it a beautiful build feels like a disservice. An incredible product of tremendous talent and experience. I would love to see it absolutely BLAZING with torches at night, as well. Gotta do it anyway, to keep warm in there. 😸 And yes, some artifacts and perhaps a few judiciously distributed taxidermies. 🤩
11:20 there is a huge metal cave near you. the lake with the drop on it is on the other side the mountain from you towards redwoods. go to the lake and look for openings in the mountain. tons of crystal and metal

I miss the old castle and keeps, it still exists as a discontinued mod but way back in the day it had an ice skin that was fabulous for making frozen castles or having a whole room freezer.
It would be amazing if all yall built a castle then at the very end of the series you go to war with each other with all the crazy tames you made over the series!!
Dang, that is a really nice build you got there. As far as the way you recorded it, you probably have the best way of doing it without showing every single piece you placed (Which I think does get to be a little repetitive.) As far as the name goes, I'm usually pretty bad with names, but I think either Deeprock Keep or Darkrock Keep would work.
Name suggestion: Citadel of Ages Very medieval with subtle high tech juxtaposition. Very Infinity Blade vibes, I love it. Honestly with the respawn system every survivor is basically a deathless sooooo… hehehehehe. I wonder if anyone has made an infinity blade mod for ark…
you should 100% make that little lake into some kind of fish pond with like hammerheads or other aquatic life on wander in all kinds of colours, that would make the base look so so sooo good and unique
amazing design. always love your building creations. wish there was a way to copy it and paste it as like a ghost image, also to share creations across Ark itself like the ones Ark builders do.
I really like it, but feel the top centre tower is too thin. The outer towers being so large make the centre tower look out of proportion. I feel like you could probably make the base wider, leave the top the same width, add a few levels to the base of the tower and taper them up to about half way to make it look more sturdy and might also solve your arrow slit problem. Or maybe large gothic supports at the base....
yeah man this castle is really really cool, barring the many tiny windows lol but yeah otherwise MAN it’s awesome. the dark color was absolutely a great choice and the brown roofs *chefs kiss*
You should start doing timelapses of your builds I'm sure people myself included would enjoy seeing the build process while still avoiding the problem of building on cam.
Harder to do than it seems, I'd need another pc + a steam account + buying the game and all of the dlc lol Then theres the issue of when I stop and start constantly and take big breaks lol

I'm not sure about CKF but I do know that the spiral staircase piece from S+ fits inside the center piece of your circular buildings where its the 6 triangle foundations/ceilings all conected

Add a ramp that circles up the inside. You can do 2 square tiles, then 2 stairs/ramps and triangle tiles for the corners
