This video will be a great help to me. I am working on my '39 Chevy front seat and I am in the design phase right now for the cover. You are fitting it like a tailor makes a custom suit. The seat padding was originally cotton batting, which the mice loved, and I am replacing it with foam. This technique will be my guide when fitting the new upholstery. Thank you so much.

slick! have a question - what is the black & white fabric that was around the sides of the seat base (visible at 4:40)? it's exactly what i'm looking for.
That's a tweed fabric, brand name is Duramax, don't know the color name right now though
