  • In this video I will show you how to make quick and cheap DIY rain barrel pump. It is quiet, efficient and most importantly works on demand so that you can water your garden from your rain barrel pumps from your standard garden hose. The pump also works great to transfer water from place to place so that you can store extra water (like from a kids pool) in your rain barrels to use later in the garden and as a camp shower.
I have also paired this system with the Bluetti AC50S Solar Generator for the ultimate off grid water pressure.
    Thanks for watching!

I have an outside shower connected to our artesian well and pump. The problem is the water temperature and water pressure varies all the time. You have to keep adjusting the camp water heater as you take your shower. Having a large water holding tank and a small water pump could solve that problem. The tank could be automatically refilled after the shower. A good idea to fix the water problem.

We don't bother heating our camping shower water we just deal with cold water. If its warm out I let the water warm in the sun first.

Quick Question: I have the same pump, but it is not functioning on demand, it just runs continuously regardless of if a tap is open or not. Any ideas?

Is this solution strong enough to pull water from a multi-rain barrel system? I have 4 rain barrel in different locations on my property with the need to feed a central garden, well, multiple raised bed gardens centrally located.

Great idea. I have one question how did you get the water out of the rain barrel. Did you just put one end of the hose in the barrel or hook up the hose to the barrel spigot? Thanks

I am looking for a system for my off grid home in the Bahamas to get water to the home for household use, would this work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't think you would be happy with the result. You need something much larger for a home system. Basically just take this exact concept and upsize it. Maybe use a bluetti ac200p and a larger pump. You can find the 200p here: amzn.to/3BQ7gFa

Is probably just use a piece of wood in the toolbox 🧰 and close the lid so it can be out of the elements.

If it’s in the elements, you probably don’t have to worry about watering the plants that day haha
