- Who is the BEST Pokémon trainer? I used Artificial Intelligence to find out. This is the BIGGEST Pokémon Tournament Ever - The World Tour! 256 trainers, 1 massive bracket! To find a winner, I used AI to battle NPC teams on Pokémon Showdown.
In this video, we're up to Block 13, another group of 16 trainers enter the contest. Who will advance to the Finals?

@@joelowes7893 the only difference it looks like no electric terrain and sunny day this time around to nerf them somewhat. If I recalled Sada had sunny day up most of the match against Turo.

I can't believe how dirty the AI did to Bea, the No Retreat Falinks felt like a monster and her Hitmontop destroyed Salvatore, but then...
Her not using No Retreat against Leon made me so mad. She would have won for sure on top of having a type advantage against most of AI Turo's team.
@@dominicmoras4283turo's team consists of a fire poison, water ice, electric fighting, dark flying, something weak to fighting, and fairy fighting (only 2 members are weak to fighting and the rest pair greatly against Bea's team)
@@dominicmoras4283 I was shocked that it didn't use No Retreat especially against Aegislash when u knew 100% it was going to go King's Shield that turn.

The more I see of Leon the more I'm convinced that he's carried pretty hard by Gigantimax Shillizard in Galar

It wasn't that unreasonable. Each turn, there was a 90% chance of Espathra dying to rock blast. So using quick attack to do just a bit of damage before dying was better than just dying before being able to do anything
That Rhyperior was faster thanks to Rock Polish. Which is why it went for quick attacks for some confirmed damage over hoping for a miss
@@CryoJnik that's why i said, hoping for 1 miss, instead of 3. Confirming damage isn't worth anything, if your last mon isn't faster.
@@romain4608 confirming 2% doesn't help, if the last mon isn't faster than Rhyperior.
Hoping for the 1 miss it needed makes more sense, than hoping for 3, or 2 if she crits with quick attack.
I am honestly flabbergasted with the amount of lucky turnarounds this bracket.
The final is exactly what I thought it would be. I am glad to see a villain in the finals and I think we may see one again from the next block, leaving us to have husband vs wife in the finals. That being said I want to see N in the finals but I'm not sure he will be able to beat the AI.
The next block isn’t even close, Ancient Paradox Pokemon are OP AF, N is nothing without Reshiram/Zekrom, and the other trainers in that Block are either embarrassingly weak or pale in comparison to other trainers we’ve seen before.
@@voltingmaster5458 oh I agree but I still want N to win as Black and White are my favorite games and generation.
The villains generally have quite good teams and not even counting Volo. Ghetsis was rated as one of the hardest battles in pokemon by many people.

Say what you will about Leon, but he knows how to put on a show.
lol leon red simps crying all over internet after those idiots got their a88 handed. comparing a mid tier jocker like leon to s tier champions like blue and cynthia are really insulting for them. and it looks like out of 16 there will be 3 champions only. with lance being only there due to sheer luck of not facing a tighy bracket like iris or steven.
3 flying type specialists next week? One of my fave types! Can't wait!

Kahili is the only one in that block who statistically stands a remote chance against AI sada’s team, and even then her chances are significantly less than 50%

@@PieRatQueenI do say statistically because while Kahili can deal with Slither Wing Scream Tail and Brute Bonnet no problem, Flutter Mane Roaring Moon and Especially Sandy Shocks can wipeout her entire team in the blink of an eye.
The Leon vs Bea match played out jst like it would in an anime or something, with both dying at the same time and whatnot lol. So was Leon vs AI Turo until Iron Valiant showed up. Alas, the strongest lore-wise usually won't win but at least Leon wasn't very cool in the first place.
Can we appreciate that Saturn lost to perish song, lol.
I'm not even going to predict who wins next block, I'm predicting the ending of match 7 in the final 16: Sada beats Turo.
I ran statistics and Turo and Sada were both favorites to face each other next round.
The fact that they formed a perfect ladder, from each side of the bracket, AI Professor is a demon, chef kisses for all the other matches, I had a feeling it was going to storm through without question, I'm def looking forward to the next ones!

Group 15 is Tank Division. Seriously, it's like Groups 12 & 14 except and removed Somek and AI Sada.
Group 16 is the Cynthia bracket (I will laugh my butt off if she somehow fails to advance).
The Salvatore Marnie battle was something
Finally! A character I wanted to win won and I knew professor Turo’s team was among the best compositions. Go Turo and also funny that it is the same character as shat you have for the icon of your channel.
Didn't watched this yet but I'm rooting for Ingo, Marnie and Bea.
Leon was my favorite to take it all, honestly. His team still didn't disappoint
Too bad he was stuck with Turo and even if he top 16 he will have to deal with Sada and Cynthia if/when they advance (Cynthia destroyed Leon in the champion tournament as well). If Leon was in the upper right side of the bracket, I could see him top 4 easily.
AHHHH, Ingo was SO CLOSE! I was rooting for him! Oh well
If Leon's Mr Rime was Tera Psychic instead of Ice, there is a good chance Ingo would have won. Very close indeed.
But of course AI Turo won, he’s your PFP after all. Next block though won’t even be close.

I have to say that Leon vs Ingo was the best match of the entire tournament.

Post round 1: Whew. You weren't lying about this bracket being utterly stacked! I think five or six of the trainers here would have been the favorite to win the previous couple brackets. I'm gonna go with Leon over Bea on the left, and AI Turo over Eldes on the right. All four of these trainers are insane, but I'm gonna have to go with AI turo to win the bracket, and the entire tournament. I know he didn't win the previous tournament he was in, but I just look at his team and go, 'how is anyone gonna ever stop that?' I have no clue. Still, everyone other than Salvatore and maybe Hala has a great team in this second round, so it still wouldn't shock me if someone does find a way to beat Turo.
Post Round 2: Danggg, Leon vs Ingo was hype! Lol Eldes threw the battle by using terra. Thank you Bea for exposing Salvatore, I was getting Saguaro flashbacks from him after round 1, but now I know that the winner of this bracket will be a deserving one. It should be Leon vs AI Turo here, but fighting is a very good monotype, so we'll see. I think Bea has a better chance than Hala does.
Post Round 3: Both favorites easily took care of business, so now we have the champion vs the AI. I really like Leon's team, but I think Turo is just a little bit stronger overall.
Final thoughts: Yeah. Turo is terrifying. I don't know how he lost in the last tourney. His team's just so strong. Leon needed luck to go his way to have a chance, and losing the turn 1 matchup was a bridge too far for him. Turo's my pick to win it all, and while I think he'll have some really close matches in the final bracket, I just don't know if anyone's actually going to be able to beat him.
Iron Valiant is a monster.
Turo gets beaten if he faces someone with counters to each one of his pokemon and he stays in against all of them since paradox pokemon are practically legendaries
@@bulbaa2241 I think Leon put up a decent fight, but Booster Energy Iron Valiant is horrifying and nothing wants to switch into Iron Bundle. Leon led with the Mon that can absorb water attacks and bundle just one shot it with Freeze Dry.
Those 2 are the 3rd and 4th strongest Pokemon in the tournament (1 is Sada's Flutter Mane and 2 is Mustard's Urshifu Rapid Strike).
The reason I believe Turo lost his tournament was because he went against go figure AI Sada and had sunny day up the entire time and he never setup electric terrain to remove the sun. I'm guessing they don't have the weather moves this time around to balance them. Never saw Turo setup an Electric Terrain.

I honestly think this Tournament should be ran again at some point to determine how much luck truly factored into the results. I would also suggest removing a certain two "professors" from the next tournament.
I agree. And maybe to include mega évolution or other gimmicks. Terra doesn't fit to some characters.
So, for these AI matches can we just remove Hydro Pump as a move? I've never seen so many misses throughout this tournament ever in my life.

Yeah irs basically ultrabeast/full psuedo tier pokemon. Even with bad luck they will roll

IMO Sada and Turo should be disqualified. Aren't Paradox Pokémon near Legendary in terms of stats and abilities?
the paradox pokemon all have worse stats than psuedos

AI turo was my pick to win it all. The character has an amazing story and looked like my red dead character when violet was released. I’m hoping he still wins it all

The Intro video details the music - the block's villain will always have their theme in Round 3, champ will always have their them in Block final

Turo winning isn't very surprising. All his pokemon are just under pseudo legendaries, except a team of paradox pokemon doesn't die to ice and fairy attacks like a team of mostly dragos pseudo legendaries.
Here's hoping someone can beat Sada, I'd hate to see two of these op trainers crushing everyone in the finals.
(well, quarter finals, because of how the brackets are laid out. Of the two whichever wins will probably go all the way to the finals.)

That so called uNDeFeATed cHaMPiOn with the most overrated starter is a joke and a mid tier champion comparing him with s tier champions like Cynthia and Blue is really disrespecting for them.
@@arpandas2243 I still maintain that if you were to allow every character all egg moves, TMs, Items, and Ability Capsules; Leon's Rillaboom team (Rillaboom and Haxorus subbing in for Mr. Rime and Seismitoad) is the strongest team of any champions. He has a strong team with good typing, a good physical/special mix, and sweeping potential.
You can dislike him as a character, but he is legitimately on the same competitive level as Cynthia and Blue (possibly behind them, but still close to them).
@@moonjelly5 roserade or togekiss are all needed to sweep Rilaboom. Watch how the real undefeated champion queen Cynthia sweeps the bracket.While Leon and Red fans cry in corner. Blue and Cynthia are the real deal and AI proffessors should be banned.
@@arpandas2243 Leon has Charizard and Aegislash to counter Roserade and Togekiss. Togekiss can do borderline nothing to Aegislash.
A fight between those two teams would be close and could legitimately go either way. It would be whichever had the better reads.
Also I am going to laugh at you heartily if Cynthia somehow does not win her bracket (I think she will).

This block was great to watch. So many come from behind victories (2 from Leon and Hala had one thx to Metagross tera turning steel to name a few). We finally have a villain in the top 16 and I predict AI Sada destroys her block so we can have a rematch of Turo v Sada.
Block 14 is an absolute stomp in Sada’s favor, it’s not even close.

Tulip appeared to have Leon's number, but she unfortunately triggered Rhyperior's Weakness Policy in the same turn it used Rock Polish. Rhyperior effortlessly swept her team after.
Hau does not go down easily, but Ingo does not give him a choice and claims the win.
By the narrowest possible margin, Salvatore claims a bloody win over Marnie with a last-minute Fake Out from Persian.
Bea takes the fight to Acerola and takes a commanding win against the Trial Captain.
Hala takes a dominant win over Voldon, thanks in part to Rotom missing multiple Will O Wisps
Eldes takes the win against Nessa, but I imagine she was sweating a bit beneath those glasses.
Drayden simply outbattles Saturn, though it is closer than expected. Saturn proved to be no slouch, but just didn't have a comfortable answer to Altaria.
AI Turo beats Watson despite a late near-comeback, moving on to Round 2. I'm interested how his Paradox Pokemon will fare!
ROUND 2
It really looked like Ingo was gonna take Leon down, but that last-minute sweep from Mr Rime edged the win over to the Galar Champion.
Bea dominates Salvatore, easily crushing him with her fighting types. Sirfetch'd deserves special mention for bringing down half his team.
Eldes looked like he was going to take a comfortable victory, but unfortunately he was left facing down a Tera'd Bewear with all physical attackers. Hala takes the win.
AI Turo's Iron Valiant crushes Drayden, proving itself a more than capable dragon slayer.
ROUND 3
A Galar showdown! They traded KO's for a while, but Leon's Aegislash ran away with the battle in the second half; Bea's lack of Ghost coverage cost her this battle.
Hala almost staged a comeback with Guts Tera Machamp, but unfortunately he just didn't quite have the speed to overcome AI Turo's last few Pokemon.
BLOCK 13 FINALS
Champion Leon vs AI Turo! Leon's bringing a lot of heart and guts to this fight, but Turo's Pokemon are quite literally 'built different'. Can Leon take down these never-before-seen Pokemon, or will AI Turo prove the future is found in Paradoxes?
Leon was never able to recover from Turo's start; that Freeze-Dry on Seismitoad just set Leon on the back foot too far, and the missed Thunder from Mr Rime didn't help matters. AI Turo advances to the Final Block, and Leon is left in the dust.
Why not give Ingo his Basculegion, Kleavor or Wyrdeer From his vs Alpha fight? Or even some of his Unova Mons?

I think if Iron Valiant hadn't lowered Charizard's Sp. Atk, he could have won. Also Rhyperior using Rock Polish on the turn (or turn prior) when Weakness Policy activated
rhyperior +2 speed does not outspeed iron valiant +1 speed and spirit break has a 100% chance of lowering sp.atk

I hate to say it but I think the AIs have an unfair advantage. I suspect we're gonna see Sada win the next round. This does mean that we will see an AI vs AI in the final 16, but I feel like they're gonna absolutely blow everyone else out of the water.
Idk if it's just me but I think that AI Turo and Sada are a bit too overpowered for this type of tournament

@@emperorkale1134 Understandable. It's weird as it didn't seem as broken during the Paldea tournament as it does here. I do agree that this team likely should have been toned down in some form (like no booster energy) and I would have preferred someone like Leon, Ingo, or Bea advancing.
I think next round is going to be even more of a Paradox slaughter as the rest of the field is pretty weak. At least the AI's will have to take each other out.
nepotism
I don't think this is nepotism, Turo is just really strong (made the block a bit boring, honestly). Claiming nepotism implies that Turo's AI (heh) was made smarter (or his opponents dumber), but I trust Pokedad enough that I don't think he'd do that.
Man this round just had to be the most boring of them all... I really didnt want ai turo or leon to win because it was so predictable... No upsets or anything
Leon always under-performed in the previous tournaments so I'm happy that he won so many matches.
At least Leon's battle were fun, I prefer those to routs.

N isn’t a champion because he never won eight gym badges in an official Pokémon Gym Challenge. He beat Alder in an unsanctioned match.
If May hasn't battled yet, she should use Blaziken, Gardevoir, Wigglytuff, Venusaur, Snorlax, and Blastoise. Everyone except Wigglytuff is male.
