I enjoyed watching this, but it stops after 1h30 or so, and it is supposed to be about 2h, according to your time stamps? I was interested to see how the game ended and what your final thoughts were. I hope you either re-upload the full video, or post a second part?
I would love to hear your opinion on the game. For me the official rules makes the game slow and uninspiring (for 2 players), or king making (for 3 players). You can just sit in your corner and make money, so the area control doesn't matter at all and there is little recruitment of new cards.
I know you were asking the channel this, but I will put my $0.02 in. You are right, the game is a bit of a long one, but personally I don't mind that. You can just sit in your corner and make money, but as you said, that is boring and uninspiring. The game is more fun when you are interacting with te other players. Hiring Associates lets you do MORE on your turn -- even basically replicating actions that Orders do so you can effectively do more than one Order per turn (which a lot of people have trouble with as they find it "too limiting") I will admit that there isn't much incentive to go into an all-out gang war with the other players, and not much upside in trying to seize their Neighbourhoods when there are neutral Neighbourhoods available, but it is also fun to mess with their plans. For example, if a player has one of their Neighbourhoods stocked with goods and are obviosuly getting ready to sell there, the Capone player could do soemthing like play his Boss card and up the INF in his Plan to 5, then send a Thug to Authorities and remove the Control Marker from that Neighbourhood. Alternatively, the St. Clair player could play her Boss card and use her "steal" skill to remove goods fromt he Neighbourhood so the player in question doesn't have enough to sell. The game is what you want to make it, really, based on the cards available. if you want to play a boring an uninspiring game by sitting in your corner and not doing anything, feel free, but you won't find the game fun, and you probably won't take it out often -- you may as well get rid of it at that point. On the other hand, if you actually DO things like hiring Associates that let you do MORE things, and start messing with your rivals, you will have more fun and will likely be more inclined tio table the game more often.
Read the glossary. Next to and adjacent are not the same. The first police move was not free you needed to pay alcohol or gun to move it
It’s Chicago. North is off to the right 😉

Oh no, you're right! I'll try to see what happened, cause it should just be one video
