Even though I have a bike that is good for me, I have never wanted a new bike more than now. I have had an eye on the Druid for a while but this video has turned me from wanting a Druid to coveting one.
These build videos have helped me improve my mechanic skills tremendously over the past few years! Huge fan and recently did a pro build of a Druid with XT - great bike and the customer was happy! Dream build is pretty much the only thing I watch on UA-cam. Thank you for every video you have made.

I would love to test ride this bike to see what the high pivot is all about. Is it Mostly intended for Enduro and downhill riders? Very heavy frame for carbon, 7 lbs. I do lots of single track where there is some climbing so I like light frames and light bikes.

The high pivot can not defy physics and ads a lever force to the idol chain ring as the axle is supported on one side only and it reduces your lever force from the crank as it is not a direct drive from crank to cassette but it soaks up those bumps like a freak.

I hate to say it but after my 2017 Transition Patrol that I bought as a frame only and hand picked all the components for and built myself (only thing I had the shop do was tension my wheels. I laced em up myself, but I don't own a spoke tension meter) was stolen almost a year ago I've lost the will to spend all that time and money again knowing it can just be gone that quick 😓
I did a full wrap of my new bike recently and I have to say that it's a bit too tedious for my liking. As it was my first time I wanted to be thorough and it just took way more time than I expected, and still there's some airbubbles here and there. I did order a basic AMS kit as well, and that was so much easier. Just slap it on and you're done. Next time around I'll use AMS instead, and I even like the snakeskin look to it as well as it being thicker.
