I'm a big Dramatics fan. I love Wee Gee, L J Reynolds and even Lenny Mayes vocals. They all had a different flavor, and they were all very Dramatic. Love the Dramatics!
Wee Gee gave them something extra, similar to what David Ruffin brought to the Temptations. Both groups had to reinvent themselves after both guys left/were fired from the groups
Everyone at times seems to give all the credit to LJ Reynolds for the Dramatics overall sound per the lead singet, but he pales against 1 what Wee Gee brought to the group...I would put Lenny Mayes (who in my opinion was underated) ahead of him. Ron Banks added the extra flavoring. This song brings back memories and is one of my favorites by them.
@ Alvin Romer : I agree 100%, but as many member changes and rearranges as the Dramatics endured over the years... I can't understand them featuring Ron Banks at on time in the group's history.
+Joseph Dale Ron Banks was being featured at one time for 2 LPs Dramatically Yours & The Dramatic Jackpot to differentiate between Two Dramatics groups that were performing at the same time....Wee Gee Howard, Elbert Wilkens & a Ron Banks soundalike Arthur Phillips were performing as The Dramatics until Banks sued & won in court over the name..The splinter group of Dramatics now used the name The Dramatic Experience for one record in '76 Someday Somewhere

+Alvin Romer Agreed. Lenny put in a lot of work when it came to formulating a lot of things in the group so I give him a tremendous amount of credit.
