add a foot here and there, make it hybrid. Put a over the road trucker's bunk in it. Add in a communication suite that uses a line of sight laser downlink to a companion drone. Put a bustle on the turret to house a a hive for switchblade drones and you have a PIFV... Grab some 2000 pound blivets that hold metal storm mortars or similar ordnance for the thing to remote control. Now you have something that can protect itself if it has to run, but a combat reload is little more than a high speed pass by any USA fighter aircraft with 4 resupply stores hung under the wings. Those stores could be a pod full of anything from stinger AA to 9mm micromini gatlings on either end with a bath tub of bullets to use...... Just a concept. I bet you a Gen Z warrior with a video game controller would be McLovin it.
Cool, but how does it defend against enemy EW capabilities that would jam its navigation systems - which would be common in LSCO? Engineers can create cool stuff - but they also have to be competitive on the battlefield and fill an operational/tactical gap. I’m also not sure this would fit within the Army’s platform redesign. Drones and a 30mm cannon platform already exist - so nothing new is really being brought to the table. It also can’t sit out in the field for days on end like our recon platforms already can. I wonder what the price tag is on one of these?
They are not going to make a multimillion dollar battle tank without thinking of these things before hand. Also there would most likely be solar panels to charge the tank. This tank has instant speed and much more manuverable than slow battle tanks that are used today. Just check out its other videos its capabilities far surpass the tanks of today.
This isn't a deep penetration offensive system, it doesn't need a huge on board energy reserve so it can function without support for days. Unlike an ICE based system, it also doesn't waste it's power reserve while standing still waiting for action.
Hm... if a combat system is so extremely agile, why adding the whole weight and complexity of a turret? I am thinking of the Swedish Stridsvagn - the gun might need to be a bit flexible - but doesn’t need a turret. You probably would have dramatically savings in weight, complexity and price. Also - if the M5 is cheap enough armor is also less important (especially if it is remote controlled and again - it would save some weight, improve range etc.) - so basically light armor versus light machine guns etc. (to be able to protect infantry, which it could support) would probably be sufficient.
I agree, throw 2500 of these into a battle field with A.I. assist "AIMBOT". Keep them fast, light and a simple platform instead of a turret let it aim from the hip so to speak. Slaughter bots go.
They should add some hell fire missiles on that badass
Awesome ❤️❤️

...for both the light and the medium. Capability... hahahahahaha, reading a script for the first time
neat
enemy snipers can disable those cameras..
now time to put atgm on it and make it not electric so it can be in the fight for more than a few hours

If only they enlarge The Ripsaw/Ripjaw a little bit bigger then the Russian MBPT, can you imagine what they could do with that 💁♂️
Also carry the 50mm chain gun.
@@rogersmith8480 or just make a robotic M1 abrams
