The dual Pyramid Head boss fight looks really damn good with Akira Yamaoka's updated score. The whole thing is James proving he has the resolve to see his journey through. But words are cheap. The Pyramid Heads fight James one more time to test his resolve. Once he proves that, in fact, he does not need them anymore, the monster as an entity has served its purpose, and it ends its life.
@@rhenvao2844 I think it just embodies that James and the town has taken out the last 2 characters with Maria being in the bed the same way Mary was I think it embodies how James had to watch her go into surgery and have Ivs hooked to her but yeah you are right to a degree when they are done with the fight they dispose of themselves I think it could embody angela does so too with the knife slowly later, I would have put Eddie impaled on a meat hook in remake and then show James impaled after the in water ending I think it’s supposed to embody that what the shrapnel does to James after the impact. Possibly even a small hint at how he felt there was a arrow through his heart for the one he loved
It does for everyone I imagine, it's supposed to. There's no canonical ending for this game but this to me is the one. He gets complete closure on Mary's death and fulfills her dying wishes between the town and presumably Laura as well. I think the devs had intended to make this the canonical ending as well because if I remember right Laura was supposed to return in a later game older and wearing James's jacket and basically making it full circle to how the first game ended with Harry taking in Heather
@@gmv8993 idk it still just feels like a really lazy way to just re use a asset back in the day id excuse it with how hard animation and character models where to make but yah if they kept the bosses that close to the original they shoulda kept the pyramid head boss fight like the OG cuz the symbolism in that is super important but nahhh just add destructible environments n remove any symbolism for a actiony weavy fight lmfao I’ll admit eddie using the meat packing plants canvayor belt to swing the pigs n steak or whatever at you is creative and a good edition but it still was super un anti climactic and every other boss just did not justify blooper team Could handle boss fights or any of this at all

i never play silent hill 1 and 2 actually, i played silent hill origins, room and memory thing. i still can't understand is this city really exist or just bad memory from the MC and if this city exist who made that monster from beginning.
The complete lore behind Silent Hill (the town itself) is honestly kind of a clusterfuck personally speaking. Yes it's real, long story short spooky Native American spirits got corrupted by the order in Silent Hill 1 and 3 and their powers now (maybe) manifest the inner fears and turmoils of anyone with darkness in their heart who comes to the town. Thing though is there's a huge correlation between the fog world/otherworld and the different sleep cycles and some endings in the games, notably the first one's bad ending, where everything takes place in the mind of the MC. In other games though everything really does take place. Far as I know there's no real concrete endings to the games other than the first one. So the powers may only manifest solely in the mind or may actually physically manifest in the realm that the town is trapped in. Part of the appeal to the games, at least I believe, is deciding what you personally think is real and what isn't
Yeah, I feel like I could be hired as a game writer at this point - How about three 'pyramid heads', but, instead of swords or spears, they wield axes?

It's still just as eerie with Pyramid Head's first boss as he casually leaves as if you aren't there as the siren swells.
It is extremely disturbing that Eddie looks like Dan Schneider.
Dammit, now I can't unsee it.
@@rhenvao2844 sorry.
It's a shame that he couldn't match how menacing Dave was. That guy sold the hell out of Eddie!
Eddie looks like a cousin of mine 🤨 scary how much he looks like him lol
Omg 😹
I know people say he's too uncanny, but I swear he looks EXACTLY like a few fat sweaty dudes Ive met on jobs lol
Now you can legally beat up your cousin at a video game Lmao.
I swear I have a Cousin that is Identical to Angela
It’s hilarious to see James with his little wooden board with nails against Pyramid Head’s comically large kitchen knife.
Listen don’t ever underestimate the Whoopass Stick
31:22 Holy Crap! They just turned Mandarin into HQ Closer
Worst feeling is Pyramid Head charges his swing the moment the siren wails and he kills you.
Pyrimd heads fucking jacked jesus, man. He could kill someone if anyone looked at those who guns
That ending hits hard for me, personally…
For me too... When I was young it hitted hard, but now being a man... Wow man.

31:30 hay the allow you fight grate monster from the original silent hill 2. That’s neet
hi thank u for this
Eddie looks like an adult in this. I thought in the original, he was like a kid or at least a young adult.
Eddie is 23 years old. He's an Adult
Angela, on the other hand, is a Teenager. She's 19 years old
@@PaulaNaBussa-x1n Thought he was a kid back then. Never knew he was 23.
Silent Hill 1 is the next game that should get a remake. It is a classic and memorable creepy enemies like Satan himself
So the final boss is just flesh lips with spooky Maria attached to it XD mandarin is just Chauncey from treats for beasts
Not really. Maria in her spider form has longer reach than flesh lips
Well, it all make sense, flesh lips is Mary at Hospital. She felt so disgusting for James, that’s what flesh lips represent
Flesh lips were always related to Mary state, that's why they share appereance.

next they should Remake Silent Hill 1 with better graphics than the original and after that they should remake Silent Hill 3.
The got rid of "butterflies" for the last boss theme music. Track was awesome
Whoa didnt even think to shoot the hand on flesh lips haha
In my opinion Eddie was the most difficult one to face
Sad story monster

bit like evil within story
Evil Within and a lot of other survival horrors took their inspiration from Silent Hill.
Most horror games are inspired by silent hill 2
Except that evil within's story is garbage

how is it a backrooms reference? like Silent hill 2 came out in 2001, the first backrooms image came out in 2011 lol
