Well, that's 45 mins of my life well spent! Loved every second. Thank you .
Thanks again George for another great tour of the store, appreciate it. Had a lovely couple of days look forward to the next visit :)
When George said at the end "Jurijs is going to like this" and then proceeded to lift up his sweater, I was thinking "am I still on the right George Farmer channel!?" Haha I really need to visit Horizon Aquatics sometime soon.
😂
🤣🤣🤣
Very nice authentic vlog 🤗
The show scapes have transformed miles since end of summer.
No words. A wonderful place for an aquarist. It's an art. Everything is tidy and neat. Every detail is perfectly laid out. Big applause for the owners. Greetings from Poland
Loving the rambling style of these one take videos.
Horizon is a beautiful shop. I’m so fortunate to have it on my doorstep 😃
Two great owners of a great shop filmed by an industry legend all helping grow an increasing aquascaping community 💚
Nice one George. Hope I see you soon mate
Amazing that inside post apocalyptic scenery of this Darlington Street xD, Such beauty tanks are present.
What a unique and wonderful setup
It's a great shop and they're really nice couple. Definitely worth a visit...
I find the dry goods the most interesting honestly! I think it is cool to see all the innovations and options in the industry and what advancements have propelled this hobby further. Would love a more in-depth tour of their dry goods room and equipment on their tanks. I love how every tank in their shop has a different pipe set on it and would love to hear more info on that.
Love rambling!!’
I've been a few times now and purchased a few things, fish, shrimp and dry good and see something different everytime. Fantastic service and a great cup of coffee too !
I live in the south west. But I will definitely be visiting this store at some point. Its the most well laid out and attractive store I have ever seen.
When you mentioned about dyslexia and how doing a visual video or workshop helped you are not wrong. Although I don't have dyslexia I do suffer from a mild form of autism. Watching things being done and explained along the way is so much easier than reading it in a book with pictures.
The apriciation is beyond words for what you guys do for people in the hobby. its amazing 👏.
Thankyou x
Great helpful and caring owners will do anything to help you out, great tour george, wish james and Nicole all the success they deserve 👍 😊 just lucky to be close by.
As someone with no aquascape store in my whole country and barely a couple of online sellers, Im looking at this with a mix of envy and admiration! :)
Nicole’s large driftwood tank is my favorite
This looks pretty close to heaven for me 😍
What an amazing place. Ive added it to my travel wish list!
In Canada, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Material Information System) is how we teach about and manage materials that may pose a hazard. Compressed gas is on that list. Every WHMIS training video I have seen is WAY over the top and truly makes you cautious around certain items. The Co2 cylinders themselves are also labelled heavily with warnings. The idea of having something with explosive potential near a glass box made me hesitant to get into co2. Obviously now that I have used it for a while those fears have subsided. I would be interested however to see an informational video on what to do if something did go wrong with any portion of the co2 setup. I have experienced a leak from a faulty O-ring before, but without any prior preparation those circumstances can be extremely frustrating.
I love that tank with all the bucephalandra. Breathtaking!
Watching from the Philippines! Beautiful shop, beautiful tank set ups....
Stunning tanks. Love the layout of the shop
💚💚💚 Lovely!!!!!
Stunning
Watching till the end was worth it 😉🤣🤣🤣
The gallery is amazing! The amount of different hard scale is incredible! Thanks for the tour George! Wish we had places like this in NY!
First I love it so wow beautiful. Thank for the update and great video
beautiful shop
Great video, thanks for sharing! Best tank for me was the ADA with the black neon tetras and lots of wood, carpeting plants and the red ones in the back.
Wish I lived nearby this store. Seems and great place run by even greater people, I'd love to support. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful 👍
I might have to make it to the north of England one day to see this store. Fantastic! Thank you for sharing! My favorite scape is the "classic nature" island scape with the golden Congos, pearl gouramis and rummynose tetras. Beautiful. Cheeri-O! - Little Bobby
Amazing store! Have ordered live & dry goods from Horizon, always top service. Thanks for the tour George.

Been there nice place
It's a shame there's no where like that in the south west 😏
14:29 variegated monstera 😍
very, very, very good.
Superb
I really like Nicoles without CO2!
I wish I had a shop like this anywhere close...
Well, in fact ... yours!!!
Beautiful shop for a hobbyist
🦐 he say yes!
Hey George, I would love it if you and MD fish tanks did a scape together that would be epic!!
MD againts Co2 and George think Co2 make more sense.
Absolutely amazing! Are there any stores like this in the south-east of England?
Great tour, George!
Question: do you agree with the statement made about plants melting and dying if moved from a tank with co2 injection to a tank with no co2 injection? It looked to me that the majority (if not all) the plants in the holding tank were grown hydroponically at an aquatic plant farm, with access to vastly more co2 than could be easily diffused into an aquarium. If that statement is correct I would think most any plant from a plant farm would melt and die when put into a tank with no co2. Hopefully you have time to weigh in on this. Thank you again for all your hard work over the past many years!
What an amazing shop set up! shame its 300 miles away!!
I from in Uzbekistan
👍👍👍👍👍
Anybody know which inflow skimmer pipe that is at 23:16 ?
what is the ambient tempreture inside the gallery? Do you control it with Airconditioning and heaters during winter? Is temperature controlled 24 x 7?
Hi Goerge, I'm planning on having 3 60P tanks next to each other and was wondering if my space is enough. The most left tank has 6 cm clearance from the wall (corner) on it's left side and 13 cm from the middle tank. Same 13 cm space from the middle tank to the right tank. Total is 212 cm of wall for 3 tanks = 6+60+13+60+13+60.
Middle tank is the DOOA System Paluda 60. The other two are ADA 60P. What do you think? Is it too close?
Should I have only 2 60P on this wall and have the Paluda 60 somewhere else?
For me the cost of Co2 is the problem. I would love it but as an older person, I cannot afford the equipment.
Try yeast, water and sugar, and if soft water add bicarbonate of soda, with a cheap in tank plastic reactor on low hour dose 24 hours per day plants grow cleanly and faster and, if combined with deep substrate, makes for lower maintenance.
Sorry to ask, but what camera did you use in this video George?
The big to do about Co2 is we can accidentally kill the fish. I won't turn it on in my tank unless I am in the house. Wonder place thanks for sharing with us.
Yep, but then I once killed Rummy Noses doing a water change, they swam into an input flow which was just too cold for them and they shocked and sank, lost maybe half a dozen out of shoal of around two dozen.
Amazing tanks!! So good to see hard work and dedication paying off. If I could give 2 x thumbs up I would. Love the long video too btw.
No algae IS imposible with rock's hardscape .
I don't understand the appeal of Dutch style aquariums. Am I missing something?
To me it looks like it's usually a combination of the same 6-8 most common plants, all just jampacked together, and usually trimmed in that same sloped fashion.
Maybe if I attempted it, it would click.

Can anyone visit this place
Yes
Make indonesian subtitle Mr. george
Not bad for the English people 😋
millenium wood drops ph to dangerous levels in the beginning, it should NEVER be placed in an aquarium that is running with fish, in new setups, livestock should not be placed in the aquarium until the ph stabilizes. cheers.
