Crossing an African River by Ferry - Mapai

This is a ferry crossing at Mapai, Mozambique, it crosses the Limpopo river and is used during the rainy season when the river is flooded. During the winter it is possible to drive through the river.
We took the ferry across and then drove to Sango border post where we entered Gonarezhou National Park.

It was an amazing adventure. If I remember they charge R500.
Where are you heading after the ferry ? We stayed at Dumela Wilderness, it's a stunning campsite close to the Moz/SA border.

Can i get to Gonarezhou this way?? Via the Sango boarder post??… I’m looking for the best way to cross the Limpopo without having to use Beitbridge
