SOOOooooooo.... two videos I've watched now on this aircraft and all they show you is footage from army test versions in the 50s, why aren't we seeing THIS one flying??
Like all these things they start out with great gusto its gonna be the best thing since sliced bread, and its all seems to die a natual death, this vid is wel overl year and a half old
Make an electric one. And see my logo. Can't you make it like that? The pilot position in traditional flying platforms is daggy. The position is ok but it just looks daggy. Do it with the bike bit. It would not only feel more cool but look cool as well. And you would get a lot more sales. The flying platform has been re vamped a few times, but never caught on cos it's too daggy. That's the only reason they failed, seeing that it worked and is much cheaper and easier to make than a chopper. But the advantages don't stop there. It's protected and can fly just about anywhere (where a chopper can't).. So if you don't succeed, try the bike bit. I don't know if it will work, but Hiller (and NASA) made a seat& stick version of it that worked. So if the bike bit won't work, try the seat&stick idea (and going by the several re-starts of a brilliant machine that works, the standing position won't sell, I suspect). See NASA video called Flying Platform Experiment" And See my video called "Flying Bike VTOL Concept".
yup my thoughts also, your profile pic looks to be a better ride. An electric version would be great since you could have unlimited flight time from free energy overunity electric motors such as the QMOGEN openly being replicated all over the world, its an electric motor to electric motor generator system that provides excess power that actually works unlike all the hoaxes all over the net.
Surley if you have an engine for each contra rotating prop and you lose one of the engines the thing is going to spin big time, the first hiller version was made that way, and realised it was no good, they later modeified it with a common gear box
This machine was supposed to fly in June of 2014. What happened? I'd like to know.
No demonstration flight?
Thanks for the report :).
I see this was seven years ago and still nothing

FAA and insurance companies may have something to say about it. US Army in the 1950's could get away with anything.
Streamline the inner bracing. You would get more thrust.
Does it have a counter rotating gearbox?
so i take it this never worked????
fly it you damn tools!

The craft where Hiller had a 3rd engine, wasnt the thing drifting into a collosal machine losing the small portability and fasination
How much
how bout williams x jet modern version?
license needed?
