Cadillac's largest SUV is powered by a standard 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and can deactivate half of its cylinders while cruising to save fuel, a 3.0-liter diesel inline-six is also available. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard on both engines, and you can choose between rear-wheel or all-wheel drive setups.
The car is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 682 horsepower, which proved to be enough power to blow up this giant SUV.

Il take the 21 lease returns that's identical to this at half the price. Cars and clothes are not an investment don't get to caught up. In 2025 they will be telling you how bad the 24 was and now how great the 25 is. Luxury doesn't mean quality. They're market is the influential people.

In my opinion the Escalade is a big, stupid overpriced vehicle. 13mpg, are you kidding me? Individuals with money don't buy this vehicle, they purchase BMW, Mercedes, and Range Rover.
That, of course, isn’t true. Families buy Escalades. Much roomier than a GLS 580 and the X7. Range Rover, of course, isn’t as large. Who do you think buys Escalades - individuals without money? Go to areas of the country away from the West and the Northeast. You’d be surprised. People who buy those you mentioned are couples with money and the SUV is additional to a large sedan.

So whom do you think are buying these? People without money? Mercedes Benz reliability is 29 out of 30. Just above bottom feeder Chrysler. I buy a new Escalade ESV every year and wouldn't buy anything else. Beauty performance class and style. If you want YOUR little puddle jumpers, fine. But don't insult us that like the best SUV on the planet.
Not sure if you ever personally driven an Escalade. Trust me I was a German SUV person myself but once my son’s travel baseball started with longer trips I opted to give the Escalade ESV a try. Why? Because of it being roomy yet still having a ton of cargo space, and luxurious. I get your argument about 13mpg but trust me on the highway you’re traveling pretty far on a full tank. I did DC to Myrtle Beach, SC on one full tank with gas to spare. During that trip when the tank got about halfway I refilled it, which got me there and again with gas to spare. Went from DC to NYC although starting around 10am there was absolutely no traffic, got there and still had well over 300 miles to empty. Now where the Escalade hurts is city driving. Cadillac has me hooked now, my first ever American Brand vehicle.
