The Jeep Grand Cherokee info center is slow compared to other vehicles and even slow when it's not used for a couple of days, for example, if your vehicle is parked for days. Not good. I have one (2022). Stellaris is not making v8s for the SUVs, so moving to another vehicle company going forward.
My only gripe is the piano black in the center console area. I wish they chose a material that felt a bit more premium but mainly avoided fingerprints and dust from showing. Piano black, while it looks wonderful brand new, is just awful in practicality especially in the more utilitarian areas of a vehicle like a center console.
Unfortunately, the piano black aka gloss black for few interior panel areas leaves fingerprints. In general, automakers regardless of branding, include piano black panels to give the vehicle a luxury look and as well as a luxury feel. That's the main reason depending on the trim level for the vehicle. I have the same Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve trim that's shown in this video. What Jeep did to keep the fingerprints under control is they included a hand held tery cloth towel in the vehicle. It's in the glove box. That towel can be used for the gloss black panels and also for the infotainment screen. Back in July, I got my vehicle and only three or four times so far I used that small towel to wipe the fingerprints off the panels. I've used it few more times to wipe off the infotainment screen though. Overall, this is a good vehicle. The features are great! The 19 speaker premium audio system sounds great! Nicely equipped with a 950 watt amplifier. As for driving this vehicle, it's comfortable. It's comfy due to coming with the adjustable air ride suspension system. The three top trim levels of the vehicle will come with that. Regardless of trim level for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, all of them will come standard with LED exterior lights and LED interior lights. This vehicle is a comfortable vehicle to drive, especially if someone got the one with the V8 engine like what I did. The performance numbers with that engine is 357 horsepower along with 390 pound feet of torque. When you get the chance test drive one. Also, try and test drive the bigger luxury brother Jeep Grand Wagoneer. That's the vehicle Jeep brought back to compete with the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
@@jefferybaxter1225 I appreciate the response. It’s good to know Jeep acknowledges the potential fingerprint issue and took action. It’s also good to hear the issue isn’t as nearly prolific as I was thinking. I appreciate your perspective and you sharing your experience. Cheers!
@futbolfan27 You're welcome. Also, thanks for responding and looking at it from another angle based on what I mentioned. The tery cloth towel I talked about comes with every Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicle placed in the glove box together with the vehicle manual. The they cloth towel measurement is 9.5 inches by 10 inches. I keep mine in the arm rest console. When I'm ready to use it, I just reach in there. When you get the chance test drive one. Test drive both the V6 and V8 engines. You'll definitely notice a night and day difference between the two powertrains. Other features found in this on the Summit Reserve trim would be a rear view mirror camera, interior camera, night vision camera, panoramic roof, hands free lift gate and more. If you get the chance to test drive the bigger luxury brother Jeep Grand Wagoneer, you'll feel like a KING driving it. It has a freezer in the arm rest console and power reclining third row seats.
That surprised me as well. I have the same vehicle in the same Summit Reserve trim level. Mine is a 2023 model year and it has the front passenger infotainment screen. I was under the impression that the 2024 model year would come with the front passenger infotainment screen as standard, but it appears that's not the case. I assume it's still optional like the 2022 and 2023 model year Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles from the Overland trim and above. The 2021 model year Jeep Grand Cherokee L in those top three trims Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve didn't have it at all either standard or optional. As for the freezer, it's not for any of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. That feature is solely for the bigger full size luxury brother Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer also has power reclining third row seats.
There is no passenger screen in the Summit. The Summit RESERVE has the passenger screen. We have a 2023 Summit Reserve with that feature. Coming from a BMW X7 M50i we love this high end Jeep model. Especially night vision, Fam cam, and the McIntosh audio system. We have the V8 version. Test driving the six cylinder version was lackluster at best. Would not own this Jeep with a six cylinder coming from the BMW and a Mercedes GL550 before that. Enjoy
💎 Each item showcased oozes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is unparalleled, making it a true embodiment of luxury.
The price is one liver and two kidneys.
Love it, i will definitely get this exact one. 🔥

There is no third screen like the 2023 model, and there is no refrigerator
