If anyone told me the US will come for Canada and the European Union so soon, I would say, Never! 😂 The betrayal is so painful - the SMO has not even ended in Ukraine and the allies are already feeling so Betrayed. 😂 As for Germany, if they don't take the bold steps to restart the Nordstream pipelines now, they will never rise again. Russia would be laughing the hell at the so-called "Allies and Partners" now.😂😂
Even if let’s say hypothetically US manages to bring manufacturing home, by the time this happens (which will take 10-20 years) the world would’ve shifted away from US and established other supply chains and networks.
Canada can apply to both as you suggested if you aren't "embarrass" of being rejected! Better alternative is to be the 51st US state as President Trump implied so feverishly, hence a great opportunity to participate in MAGA! 😂😅
The immediate solution to Mexico is trying to join the BRICS bloc and the Mercosul, especially now that Milei wants to pull Argentina from Mercosul to sign a free trade deal with the U.S. (yes, both Milei and DT are crazy...). Canada should try to make a free trade agreement with UK and Australia ASAP.
The smartest free trade agreement to make is with China if you want your economy to boom and the politicians actually care about their citizens’ interests!
Joining the UK and Australia won't help as their consumer markets are too small to make any impact. Very very short term and small help even if any. Only China can really make a significant difference. That's why you have almost all countries running to China. The early bird catches the worm. 😂😂😂
6:56 not only the consumers, the manufacturers will be absolutely hammered from the cost of getting materials and parts as well as boycotts, tariffs and uncompetitive price of US goods. Trump just pressed the "self destruction" button...
What all these US tariffs and counter tariffs by other countries will result in massive global inflation. Consumers will get clobbered its a question of who will be able crumble first.
But it was the US manufacturers themselves that moved production off shore. Even Parker pen moved from Chicago to China back in the 1990's. How is that our fault? They did it to themselves and I'm happy doing business with China; I don't miss the USA at all, Chinese products are very good these days.

We get past bad times and mean people. Thanks for looking out for us, Sean. We’re good, industrious people. 👊🏾🧔🏾♂️
How can a 330million consumer market be bigger than a 1.4billion consumer market? So logically, the US market is definitely inflated many times over. The ability to spend on credit (due to the Dollar being the reserved currency) gave Trump a false sense "greatness‘“ that the US is the indispensable market in the world.
Trudeau Canada made a graveous mistake when they went after Modi, caving to the Sikh lobbyist interest rather than the important Quad alliance. Canada takes order from US, not from her domestic politics. She pays dearly if she doesn't know who is boss.😅 She is now made an example for the rest of the vassal states who don't toe Uncle Joe line😅
How US treat Canadians should be a lesson all Australians should learn. US is never your eternal friend and China will always be your reliable trading partner..... if you play your cards right and clean.
No countries want to buy US bond anymore. How can US continue to print more money to finance military equipment and subsidies. No countries want to set up factories in the US. Every country wants to have its own people to have full employment not in the US. How to develue the USD. It will be a blow to US ego. Eventually every countries will abandon USD and the currency will turn into a banana republic currency with mountain of debts.
Canadians drink $1 Billion of US liquor every year. On Tuesday, that is seriously going to zero. That’s not a little start. Canada sells oil at a $16.80 per barrel discount to the US. That’s why Trump can add 10% and not blink. But it’s Canada that needs to add to the price. Starting in July, LNG can start shipping from British Columbia. Canada could open to Chinese EVs, if that is the cost of China being willing to buy all of the agricultural products that the US is not buying. There will be a race to build additional pipelines from Alberta to both coasts. (btw, canada has posted on gov’t websites the initial tariffs, you can google it.)
budget, increase productivity, budget, increase productivity, budget increase productivity, omg, omg, omg...so we only have consumer base as our leverage? Cmon, were also loud. Thx, these updates are comforting
I agree, with you on China, they play the long game and never forget. Although the US is China's largest export market 'today' by $500b+, i wouldn't be surprised China accelerating and bringing forward future trading partners with the Global South, just enough 'initially' to offset tariffs with ultimately avoiding the US and trading in $USD altogether as the US is too unstable.
I read elsewhere that the idea of removing income/state/fed taxes has been dangled in front of the US citizens, in exchange for tariff/sales tax, which, unless it is essentials, becomes a choice for the individual? Those living a simple life would benefit?
According Yale university, the tariffs just implemented will add USD 1500 per US family. The middle and poor in the US will get hit after ACTUAL inflation of about 8-10% over each of last four years.
Great job 👏👍 Sean. But for the first time, I saw confused or rather speechless about the situation of things. A lot is really going on around the world, it's getting complicated daily. Great job man
@@alexmarshall8894 afraid so. The u.s. tariffs is forecasted to put Canada into recession within six months. And the increase in tariffs (once again expected soon) forecasting a economic depression for Canada in a year. Of course it's unknown if the next step is 50% tariffs , or what Canada do to prolong and avoid,,,, could be less than a year. Could be more
The purpose of tariffs are to allow local manufacturer to catch up. Incase of US there is no local replacement. Mexico can easily order from China with Mexican specifications and redirect to US. This tariffs are collected from local importer thereby constitute additional taxs on the poor.
If American Manufacturing Imports or purchases any of these Tarrifed Items to produce them, well those items will be increased in cost.Even the smallest part will increase the prices.Especially if there are many parts. Thanks Sean.
Hiding hyper inflation by using the word tariffs? Not everyone you fight is your enemy and not all that help you are your friends. Thanks for the video!!
Though sometimes it can shake things up- and they don't necessarily go back to the way they were once new supply chains are set up. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of stuff going through the US from China to Canada and Mexico and that can be sourced directly from the real manufacturers, and probably at a fraction of the cost once there's an incentive.
Im sure Mexico/Canada/US signed a trilateral trade agreement recently... if I'm right isnt there legal implications here over the breaking of that agreement ...
All deals can be broken. There's no legal consequences. Only that everyone knows that the US is a dealbreaker, and can't be trusted. But the rest of the world are such slow learners!

If anyone told me the US will come for Canada and the European Union so soon, I would say, Never! 😂 The betrayal is so painful - the SMO has not even ended in Ukraine and the allies are already feeling so Betrayed. 😂
As for Germany, if they don't take the bold steps to restart the Nordstream pipelines now, they will never rise again.
Russia would be laughing the hell at the so-called "Allies and Partners" now.😂😂
The Little hats are playing all of you for fools.
When will Trump realize the Tariffs are like pissing into a fan.
The 16th sanction package shows American Impotence, not it's Importance.
This is only the end of January of the first year. Who knows what will happen this month...
Even if let’s say hypothetically US manages to bring manufacturing home, by the time this happens (which will take 10-20 years) the world would’ve shifted away from US and established other supply chains and networks.
Canada needs to apply to join the EU or BRICS. Something has to be done or it’s going to get bad. And Canadians don’t want to fall with the US.
Canada can apply to both as you suggested if you aren't "embarrass" of being rejected! Better alternative is to be the 51st US state as President Trump implied so feverishly, hence a great opportunity to participate in MAGA! 😂😅
The European Union? lol, it's kinda in the name.
Joining the EU sinking ship that is sinking even faster than the US? This tells me you don’t know anything about international affairs!
The EU?? It's like jumping off a sinking ship to another one that's sinking even faster.
If Canada wants to succeed the last thing they want to do is join the EU
“If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by”…Sun Tzu.
Wow! Back to back videos, seems like things are getting out of hand. 😱
Crawl to China! LOL and make a free trade agreement.
I believe they already have - it’s the same one NEW Zealand has joined ASEAN
Uk and Australia. Good luck they are weak, and far away.
China hasn't fired back yet. Wait till China fires back. 😂😂😂
All roads lead to their Great Reset.
The solution is simple, the World should just decouple from USA.
You're on Fire Sean 💣 ! ! !
That "sippy cup" episode must have been more than water.
Just boycott US branded goods no matter where they are made.
All these big, tough politicians😂 have got to grow balls and say one thing to america ... NO 😊🇦🇺
I do hope that country down under have learnt that nothing is gain being aggressive to your biggest trading partner.
@jameslum8822 Yep, that was the disgusting american puppet Morrison telling China how to run it's own country.
choose..:
1. retaliate with tariff
2. no retaliate
3. Boicot product US
4. Reduce Producing capacity
The fact is USA is not the only market in the world.
What all these US tariffs and counter tariffs by other countries will result in massive global inflation. Consumers will get clobbered its a question of who will be able crumble first.
Canadian will ditch the Californian wine can now enjoy cheaper French and even Chinese wines😂
Buy Mexican wine 😂
And better quality New Zealand 🇳🇿 wines 😂
And Aussie.
Wine from British Columbia is just as good
But it was the US manufacturers themselves that moved production off shore. Even Parker pen moved from Chicago to China back in the 1990's. How is that our fault?
They did it to themselves and I'm happy doing business with China; I don't miss the USA at all, Chinese products are very good these days.
What US needs is a much better educated population.
🇨🇦 here.
We’ll be fine. This was a bit of surprise, but we’re ready.
If people lose their jobs, we’ll look out for them. Brothers and sisters in arms. We’ll get through, just like winter.
Restructuring is like this. Winners, losers, rules and principles forgotten. Values lost and reconfirmed. We need tipping points to change Drump.
You know that something major is going to happen Sean can't just let this news go by till morning
Trudeau Canada made a graveous mistake when they went after Modi, caving to the Sikh lobbyist interest rather than the important Quad alliance. Canada takes order from US, not from her domestic politics. She pays dearly if she doesn't know who is boss.😅
She is now made an example for the rest of the vassal states who don't toe Uncle Joe line😅
Inconsequential. USA will still go after Canada. Canada will never be accepted into BRICS regardless of what India think.
To be a friend of u s is fatal indeed
Canada is not sikh or indian
how is the quad alliance important?
Tariffs increasing cost of living used to remove taxing the rich. If you are unemployed or low income now, good luck!
I wish I could see some light at the end of the tunnel for Canada!
We’ll just buy local. Ground our American made fighters and import the Swedish fighters we should have bought in the first place.
How US treat Canadians should be a lesson all Australians should learn. US is never your eternal friend and China will always be your reliable trading partner..... if you play your cards right and clean.
Thanks Sean! Great video. I am curious what will occur once the US stock market opens for trade.
Grab your popcorn and 🥃
No countries want to buy US bond anymore.
Time to join BRICS 🇨🇦😎👍
No worries as Klaus Shwab will always recommend us to eat more bugs.
If tariff is a tax then is no good for the ordinary people.
Personally, the US has joined Israel on my buying boycott. It won't make much difference, as the US makes so little that gets to Australia.
A good starting point for Canada would be to increase interprovincial trade
These tariffs will create a deflationary depression.
Addicted to US consumer market. Funny thing is many consumer in US rely on debt to boost the consumption 😁😁
Really liked the way you went off script and spoke from the heart, thanks
I think it's deeper that just number and past statistics now something big is happening
budget, increase productivity, budget, increase productivity, budget increase productivity, omg, omg, omg...so we only have consumer base as our leverage? Cmon, were also loud. Thx, these updates are comforting
I agree, with you on China, they play the long game and never forget. Although the US is China's largest export market 'today' by $500b+, i wouldn't be surprised China accelerating and bringing forward future trading partners with the Global South, just enough 'initially' to offset tariffs with ultimately avoiding the US and trading in $USD altogether as the US is too unstable.
Don't be surprise if China throttle exports to US to a trickle. Societal mayhem in US streets will erupt.
I read elsewhere that the idea of removing income/state/fed taxes has been dangled in front of the US citizens, in exchange for tariff/sales tax, which, unless it is essentials, becomes a choice for the individual? Those living a simple life would benefit?
Sean Foo, thank you so much for your insights!
According Yale university, the tariffs just implemented will add USD 1500 per US family. The middle and poor in the US will get hit after ACTUAL inflation of about 8-10% over each of last four years.
Happy Chinese new year to all united Chinese world ❤❤❤❤❤❤ thanks you Sean
I am a round peg and I fit in round holes. I will never mix with squares or triangles.
Sean can you plz inform us on what you think will happen to South Afrika since all of this is happening.
how much is south africa trading with the US? Most country will be effected by the dollar movement and interest rate.
Great job 👏👍 Sean. But for the first time, I saw confused or rather speechless about the situation of things. A lot is really going on around the world, it's getting complicated daily. Great job man
US will eventually isolate itself.
Canada’s housing market is truly doomed. Canada is facing a depression.
Yes they actually are forecasted to go into one within a year of f tariffs stay on
@ Similar to Australia in a lot of ways, weak currency, overinflated housing market, multiple quarters of per capita recession.
Crash and burn just has to happen sadly.
The US needs someone like you, Sean, that's what they need.
As far as i know Governments charge the tariffs on goods as they enter...a tariff war is free money for governments..... only the people lose...
Legal implications? Lol, reality is a cruel mistress
All deals can be broken. There's no legal consequences. Only that everyone knows that the US is a dealbreaker, and can't be trusted.
But the rest of the world are such slow learners!
Legal implications? Oh, you sweet summer child
What signed triparty agreement is worth?
.... it's merely dried ink on a piece of make in China paper!!!! 😅😅😅
USMCA.
