I agree and disagree with you. Reason I like Bitcoin is because (A) it's the first, the pioneer, and (B), it and others like it will be the future, and I need to support that. Do I plan on using my bitcoin to buy and sell goods on the actual market? Yes!....but not yet, it's just going up too nicely for me to do that right now lol, for now it's my gold. If one day the prices drop and stabalize (somewhat at least) then I'll look towards using it as a regular currency. But for now it's just the collection game for me. I think this is quite unique to bitcoin. If you invest in equities you can expect to have a quick exit point with stop limits and such. You are very unlikely to lose it all but will most likely only see 10% gains a year. Bitcoin could drop like a rock tomorrow with inability for liquidity. The fall or crash I meant are not like the end of the Bitcoin or cryptocurrency on general. There will be time when Bitcoin drop it's value significantly because of various reasons irrelevant to the blockchain technology itself. Like government regulations, market manipulation or the possibility of government create his own crypto. But yes, it will bounce back just like the stock market (Dow Jones around 6k on 2008 and now at 24.5k). We don't know how hard the crash or how fast the recovery. There is obvious FOMO that has kicked in, everyone wants to make money and with a limited supply the price is being pushed higher and higher (the pump). Soon the sophisticated investors will come to the realization that it has become overpriced or oversold and then they will offload large parcels of bitcoin. This will then turn the FOMO into fear which will cause a mass sell-off which fuels even further fear and selling (the dump).
If you think you have it all figured you should know a realistic value for bitcoin in order to understand when the price is under or overvalued. Sophisticated investors and people that understand the key principles of currency trading and economics have factored this in and will have their finger close to the sell button when this time comes.

What Jordan is talking about is people are speculating on how much higher bitcoin is going to go, so they can sell their bitcoins for a profit. I agree and disagree with you. Reason I like Bitcoin is because (A) it's the first, the pioneer, and (B), it and others like it will be the future, and I need to support that. He's about 40% right. He's smarter than I expected. I was ready to really tear into his opinion but he's actually not that far off. The main thing he has wrong though is that the alt-coins aren't all pump n dump copies of bitcoin. I thought this too back in May/June and it cost me millions of dollars. If I understood alt-coins last summer, I would have made millions like so many other people did. Now i'm climbing about $500 per day because it's harder now that there are so many BS alt-coins it's getting more difficult to find the good ones. There are still good alt coins though and if this guy did his research on Ethereum and truly understood how it works and how these Dapps are being built then his opinion would change a bit.

I think this is quite unique to bitcoin. If you invest in equities you can expect to have a quick exit point with stop limits and such. You are very unlikely to lose it all but will most likely only see 10% gains a year. Bitcoin could drop like a rock tomorrow with inability for liquidity. I think this simple advice is best for bitcoin.

Lot of people are on denial that some time in the future Bitcoin will crash or fall, it will happen. Be aware that some big professionals players with BILLIONS OF DOLLARS (most of them used to be Chinese billionaire, but western billionaire are coming) are already in Bitcoin. And they're in not because they believe in technology, but because they can make a lot of money. I trust the technology, but please be aware that profit oriented peoples are the one sitting in the driving seat of Bitcoin price. I hope Bitcoin will stabilized soon start using it as everyday currency.

The fall or crash I meant are not like the end of the Bitcoin or cryptocurrency on general. There will be time when Bitcoin drop it's value significantly because of various reasons irrelevant to the blockchain technology itself. Like government regulations, market manipulation or the possibility of government create his own crypto. But yes, it will bounce back just like the stock market (Dow Jones around 6k on 2008 and now at 24.5k). We don't know how hard the crash or how fast the recovery. Just be prepared so you won't lose all your money, and be ready because there will be opportunity to make money too (post crash).
Again, just be prepared and ready.
And btw, BTC will test the all time high in the next 24 hour. Hope a good breakout and followed by decent deep correction. I just trading it for now so high volatility is my best friend.

I believe that the crypto currencies are the most secured and the future of world’s economy but at the same time this dude knows something which I’m agree with him. “The higher you fly, the harder you fall”. Bitcoin will remain safe but it will drop some day so deeply then it will change the grows in different way. I’m the person who was into bitcoin since 2010 and learned so many things. But in 2017 my 3,5k bitcoin which I bought for 500$ is now 63 million $. It’s good that it made most of us rich in easy and fast way, especially who believed in bitcoin from the beginning. I still believe that there is something wrong with people’s psychology and bitcoin.
