I’ve heard this song before. It kind of sounds like Monie Love’s It’s A Shame. It was released in 1990.

This is possibly the source of the rumor that she and Madonna were going to do something together.

The original was "It's a shame" released by The Spinners in 1970. In the 70's was sang by a black singer but I don't remember her name, I think Monie Love used a sample of it in her song.
