"We don't see the extraordinary simplicity of life - of facts, rather" - Krishnamurti. For those struggling to grasp Krishnamurti's insights on "nothingness," I suggest re-listening with an open and receptive mind. His message challenges our deep-rooted belief that we are a fixed, solid "self." To be nothing doesn't mean we cease to exist. Rather, it points to letting go of the perpetual mental process of defining and becoming a separate entity from life itself. As Krishnamurti explains, this illusion of a separate self is what creates endless psychological conflict and suffering through its cravings, attachments, and fears. When he says we are "nothing" or "no-thing," he means our true nature is not found in the accumulated content of the mind - the memories, knowledge, beliefs we desperately cling to. To be nobody is to be free from the boundaries and bondage created by thought. From this spacious awareness, an entirely new way of perceiving and being emerges. No longer enslaved by the constant restless becoming of the ego-mind, we can be totally present and responsive to the undivided whole of life.
And how does that end the suffering of the world? It continues, the wars, the extortion and everything, I just become detached or indifferent or blind to it
It's not your alone he is asking to become nothing, it's everyone. Everyone's in an attempt to become what the knowledge the though assumes to be it causes most of the human suffering. We are all being reminded that if we have amnesia, we would respond to life differently. If we choose to see that we are activated by our memories just because we do not have amnesia and the outcome is so sorrowful, then we must look into what is going on with us. Nature is going thru most of the things we go thru, and it dies not, for example, take arms, we are nature and therefore part of landscape. This means less conflict as we are not becoming anything outside nature. My take. It's tough to see what Krishnamurti sees, but I like it, and I have looked at others, helping me understand what l8fe is about, such as Manly P Hall, C Jung, Nietszche, Allan Watts, Christ , Robert on on the matters of the will and and while they spit bars of what sounds great, Jiddu Krishnurmurti challenges me more by asking to become no thing and as mother of seven making this a mission is tough.
@@arshsunam8412 If you are suffering a physical pain it is a natural happening or an unpredictable happening. If it is bodily pain, to act then go see a physician. @@katblehm2119 I agree. The concept of "Nothing" seems ungraspable. In my understanding he's pointing to the self being an illusion. So maybe terms like "non existent" or "illusion" are adequate.
Whenever I have troubled mind , JK ,s book always provides an answer that calms all. I didn’t have to read too much into it, one single sentence will work wonders. Never in my imagination I could see his face other than the picture on his book, and now the modern technology provided it. It brought tears. I am all so grateful.

Everything K is saying is crystal clear! There is no way modern people can not discern what he says. However, for a person who has too much knowledge to loose, this talk will be avoided like the plaque. Then there are people that do not have nothing to loose but suffering ,fear and anxiety that can perceive it quickly. My response is simply, “ Suffering, it was a pleasure observing you, but now you must leave”!
I don't know how I stumbled here. The video just popped up on my feed. I'm a longtime Buddhist practitioner so I believe it's my karma that brought me here. You've gotta have that karma to come across gems. Now I know Krishnamurti and am subscribed to the channel.
Its actually the most simple thing, but we tend to make it complicated. Therefore i removed this believe from "my system", even though i might struggle here and there. Nothing is as easy than just being!

yes sir, it's just for the moment because it's hard to take this talk very seriously, as the lady said how it's hard to be simple, no one wanna be simple

Crazy how I was just meditating on "nothing" and then this video is in my notifications when I logged on UA-cam
How does one meditate on nothing?
This is AI not any magic. Human mind always wants to beleive in magic and miracle.
Happens to me all the time. The gurus come to us when we are in the vacuum
Meditating is all about realizing of nothing of some thing
Shut up and observe that's all
"The fact is we are nothing" this is so simple and so freeing. Thank you 🙏
This is not freeing at all. It is lazy.
That is only a fraction of the whole picture and means nothing. Conceptual understanding is not the experience. The map is not the territory
