You are wrong, Lionel, we watch it. I watch it every time you post a new one. Love it!
Agreed!
my guy shit himself twice and still won easily 😭 a legend 🙏
such a shitty wonderful day :)
MY GUY!
😂 I’m neither a mathematician nor an agriculturist, but 2 🥣 porridge = 2 💩. If I were a lettuce farmer I’d file a defamation lawsuit. Regardless, this dude’s an absolute BEAST! I wish he would have opened this vlog saying “I could give 2 shits if I won or not”
Still averaged like 6:00/mile with 2 shits in there haha
@@iron_dad7802 LOL!!
20 minutes to long of an interview?, I could watch a 2 hour interview with Lionel 👍
Lionel: I had two bowls of porridge and one of Cheerios.
Me: oh interesting normally I don’t want my intestines filled like that for a race but maybe porridge is no problem
Lionel: missed the first one by 5 steps and the second one by 20 steps.
Me: yeah no two bowls of porridge before a race.
And forget the cheerios, or at least eat em dry...no milk
Omg - too funny!
FYI. Totally love Lionel. Absolute legend, great sense of humour and open heart packed into one of the most hardcore racers ever 👍
But no mention in the end of porridge.. blames the lettuce... clutch.
Literally was laughing hysterically watching this. Good stuff
Me: I guess I should add Cheerios to my pre race ritual.
HAHA switched the clothing before the ceremony XD
This dude “uses the washroom” twice and still holds the lead 😂
WE WATCH LIONEL!!!! WE WATCH!!! YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON AND A HUGE INSPIRATION FOR EVERYONE!!! ME ESPECIALLY!!!
We are all so glad that Talbot Cox wasn't with you for additional race footage. That could have been crappy!
This guy is so brutally honest and in some ways just like the rest of us. Notice the change of clothes for the podium 😂😂
I want the longer version! #releasethelionelcut
Way to go man, you deserve your success.
"And I had like, some lettuce, and you know, there's a lot of problems goin' on right now with lettuce... in the world."
So true man. #lettuceprobs
Lionel! you da man! I was in T2 for the race assisting athletes, when I saw you come in waaay ahead of #2. You killed it bro, and I'm with Enkhchimeg LeDell
, many of us follow you, and watch every UA-cam video you guys make. Keep up the great work, and the great videos. Congratulations!
Congrats Lionel! Love these non-Talbot style videos
I laughed a little bit too much at your incidents. Thanks for sharing!
I'm another one for imodium before a race and when I first started triathlon would regularly be running and ask myself if my farts were meant to be lumpy. Love the honesty, stops the rest of us asking ourselves "why do these things only happen to me" , transpires they even happen to the best. Perhaps the mark of a winner afterall Tom Dimoulan had to have a pit stop in a field and still won the giro
This video is from 2019! :)
10:40 Lionel I'm excited to see you win Indian Wells next year for my first triathlon event ever! You're already a major inspiration to me and you're motivating me to get off my ass, quit my bad habbits and set sight for my long road ahead to Kona
You’re wife is now pro at filming , producing and editing the videos! Means more content to us followers! Awesome!
Side note: Eric Lagerstroms youtube channel is great.
Code Brown for the win!
You cant ground the club in the bunker!! Cmon Lionel. All jokes aside, I am enjoying watching all of your old content. Really good stuff! I have my first Full IM next week at IMFL and I cant wait.
Nice race Lionel! You're a big inspiration especially seeing all the ups and downs you go through, it gives the rest of us some hope!
I watch everything you post! Your my biggest inspiration!
FYI - you are not the only one watching - I watch all of them. Your transparency and hard work is inspiring
Love the challenge you put out for yourself each race💪
Cant ground your club in a bunker Lionel! Always love your videos but mate!
That podium champagne spray - mimicking what happened in the porta-loo twice earlier!
Erin, we love long videos with Lionel! 😎
I think my favourite part was him spraying everyone in the face with the bottle from like four inches away hahaha, so good
Congratulations on the win🎉🎊🎆❗️under tough bowel conditions. Sounds like you need to *remind the body* what race day nutrition is likely to feel like.......before race day. Looking forward to Daytona.
Lionel your videos could NEVER be too long...actually I think they are too short. More videos and longer! :) Congrats!
I watch the videos don’t worry! But you’re a great inspiration for my training and me racing thanks keep the videos coming !!
We always watching. No limits my man
I follow close enough to see that you grounded your club in the trap! Nice work sticking with it.
Lionel, you’re on another plateau, but we share gut issues. I can get loose bowels looking at Cheerios, anything grain wise puts me in great danger. You may consider an Alcat test to verify food sensitivities. Chapeau, outstanding perforperformance!
Thanks for the recap. Lionel is a great inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
We are watching you. And watching….
This video is from 2019
I like to take it easy at 330 watts too! 😳
Sounds like your run wasn’t good...on the hole! 😁
Welcome to the club, Mr Sanders!)))
Me, my friend Dmitry and you. Какашун team)))
Almost 100k let's go
we all watch, everyone is watching.
Pulling a "Patrick Reed" in the sand trap eh, champ? lol ;)
Lionel...so sorry that you had that "digestive" issue goin on. And yes. LOTS of people watch "your" videos
This video is from 2019
your a machine !!!!!!! megalo boutso from greece
I love the videos!!!! I’m a weekend warrior triathlete with irritable bowl syndrome. I always take a couple doses of Imodium on race morning.
Try Escape from Alcatraz if you want more cold water experience. Andy Potts, Cam Wurf, Mirinda C. all have been there. 52 degree water and a beautiful SFO venue.
Massive CONGRATULATIONS! Way to race like you stole it!
Mayyyyybe the lettuce 🥬
Canadian says 'sorry'...so surprised haha
Did you take the penalty strokes for dragging your club in the trap?
We didn’t penalize him 😂
Nice job Lionel!
Omg! I love these “ washroom” stories! ( aside from these sensations...)
it took twice for me to realize it was a #2.......dang, 45 seconds to dump one is an incredible pace!
haha, me too!
Clown at the end not letting the banner go when Lionel went trough it.
Years later.... Still making beginners mistakes 🤷♂️
Well done on the result. Thanks for the videos
awesome race
they cleaned you pretty well with champagne at the podium celebration lol
Hahaha I love my cameo on the golf course
We watch it! I hope you threepeat next year!
Patrick Reed is jealous of your backswing in the sand.
Sounds like cold water shock - science on body takes 3-5 mins for it to go. Natural response - look for prof Mike Tipton - hope this helps
This video is from 2019
This guy's bike leg is absolutely ridiculous. Super Jelly.
hey Lionel just your golf bunker shot you cannot touch the sand with club before you hit the ball. But great job even with the mishaps congatulations
That's some cold water.....
I WANT A 30 MINUTES ANALYSIS ERIN!
good work mate
This interview was totally the shit!! Congrats on the back to back Indian Wells wins!
"So What guy?" LOL
Two bowls of porridge and one bowl of Cheerios and you wonder why you need to make two pit stops??
So Good I love your videos. Always cheering for a fellow Canadian. If I paint you would you want a Fire Painting of yourself in your gym.
Been there.....in a marathon. I was on pace for a PR so I didn't bother with the washroom.
lol - Louis Garneau should consider giving you a brown speed suit with a back door! lol - legend, congrats on the win. i'm guessing no wipe?
I watch bro ... I watch
love u man :D
👏👏👏
watched the whole thing thinking it was talking about last weekend. As in 2021.
Hahaha…
@@TalbotCoxMedia keep up the great work w all you do. Fans love it.
Saddle just a tad high at 6:04? That aside, congrats Lionel, great race!
Not true, Lionel. I watch this stuff! Although I just came across this channel and I am also just starting out with doing triathlons. 👍
Nice race!
Toilet stops feelin ya pain. On another note, just an observation, club on the sand in the bunker? 2 stroke penalty?
Code Brown!
LG needs to come out with a new LS signature kit. 2 Piece (for faster transitions) w Brown shorts. #NoOneWillKnowSh!t
LIONEL! I WATCH THESE WITH GREAT INTREST! :)
Still hoping you would get some replica kits in your merch store :)
Your club touched the sand! I hope you took a two stroke penalty there. Ask Patrick Reed for some tips :p
We watch it :)
Im watching 🙋♂️
Double duce code brown!
I just started training with power meter, curious if that 90%ftp for 70.3 ride is a reasonable target for an intermediate triathlete, or Is that something only Lionel can do? I will be doing plenty of testing for myself before my next HIM, but trying to figure out how to best use the new tool. Congrats on crushing it Lionel!
you probably want to be around threshold, eg. not producing more lactate than your body can recover from while riding but that a quite individual thing to find out. 80-90% of FTP is a good range though.
Lionel/Talbot could you do you a video of how you pack your bike for travel?
I WATCH THIS STUFF
Imodium is the answer .... I take 1 Imodium for the 70.3 on the morning of a race ... no problem at all .... 👍🇬🇷👣
Did anybody else notice the people holding the finish line tape wouldn't let the winners walk away with it? Seems unnecessary. Same thing happened to Paula. Can somebody share why that was?
now there's something I might be able to beat Lionel at ... golf!
Also can u post on UA-cam or something when ur races are or if they are about to start saying "watch me or something" as well as if there is a link to where we can watch it. I don't watch any triathlons, only road cycling and I'd like to start. I run and cycle but am a terrible swimmer but u make me wanna try a tri :)
great analysis, but why no comment about your main competitor being hit by a car? or did I miss it?
What are you talking about? No he did not? This race happened 3 years ago almost haha
@@TalbotCoxMedia haha oh shit, i thought this was about the race this weekend.... totally missed that, my bad!
3:46 is that actual speed?? or fast forward? :O
Actual speed
@@AtharvaVaidya no it wasnt. you can see the hand actions from the bystander. way too fast for normal speed.
Stop grounding the club in the bunker 😁😉
When pushing yourself to make it to the washroom than making to the finish line🤣
I want the other 7mins!
Are your races already set for Kona 2020?
Did you work on your running style? Looks like you do not want to flatten the asphalt like a steamroller does. :)
good running since thrown that unnecessary things twise in a row
