- I was out riding around and found this really NEGLECTED house and Knocked on the door. It had a Notice on the front door that said this house might be VACANT. so I Knocked on the NEIGHBORS door to get the scoop. I started Working on this overgrown yard and after a 2hours of cleaning up all the debris and starting to trim oaktree limbs a HURRICANE like storm came but it didn't stop me from working. THEN THE LIGHTNING came through and that stopped me in my tracks 😂. So I came back the next day first thing in the morning and worked ALL DAY LONG on this make over. I didn't finish the second day so I had to come back the following day. This yard took me 3 days to finish, AND THIS MAKEOVER IS NIGHT AND DAY. Let me know what you think! It went from not seeing the house to having it wide open.

As a landscaper myself I know how hard the work is. To see u go around helping people at absolutely no cost is heartwarming. not even exaggerating, this helped me a lot with my depression. i haven’t really tried to take care of myself or clean my room or anything, but this gave me so much motivation. i realized that if you can do this all by yourself, i can manage to do a simple task like do my laundry :)

Hang in there. Its not easy, but even 5 min of dishes/laundry is huge progress especially when you are depressed. Something that changed my life was the thought-“this action will take less than a minute, let me just do it now.” Those tiny things add up and before you know it you find yourself feeling proud and better 🥲

My change happened when I started learning about the grave of GOD... The loving and kind father he is.. Mine earthly one is still a terribly person I've shut him out and other family because unfortunately the past is still the present people they are and I don't allow toxic in my life anymore..I guard my heart...I pray u find that same happiness in your life... And the peace that only he can bring to your soul... I still take depression meds too.. Do what u need to...I also divorced my husband of 36 years.. Cheating drunks got to go... When I learned how the LORD sees me n started seeing myself that way... That gave me strength.. Not quickly but eventually to hold his hand n let him pull me out of that pit... I'm sooooo sorry to go on this long... Don't be too hard on yourself.. Seek the LORD..... Get forgiven n let it go,... He has... His words... You have not cause you ask not .. Your worth it....✝️🙏🙏🙏

I can relate! Depression is a mofo. And getting motivated is so hard when you’re just not functioning. What works for me (sometimes) is just to “get the ball rolling.” If I make a tiny bit of progress one day, and a little bit more the next, by the third day it becomes easier. And then you get motivated by having accomplished a little. Getting started is the challenge. p.s. You are not alone. I have about 20 loads of laundry to do (and I live alone!). XO

Hello Terry , I'm 71 , and my husband is 79 , He always helped me do gardening ,He's in a care home now , I'm lost without him , I try to do my yard but it's getting harder every day , I pay for some of his meds and rates and water so I don't have much left to get in a gardener lawn man . I'm sure my circumstances are those of many many pensioners , My heart goes out to you all . THIS young man AL, is like a true son , to those who have lost family and are alone, Loneliness , in these my last days , is the heaviest burden I've had to carry ,I have faith in Christ ,He comforts my hours , but connection with others is rare , AL makes me feel like I still have connection a bit , .when I pass , I would like my estate to give him a gift , I'll see if I can arrange that ,He's more deserving than others I know . ♥

I watch a guy in England called flawless......something. He does power washing for free to help people. The tenants always bring a hot tea to him once or twice during the transformation. Very friendly people there

❤️ Al is the type of neighbor everyone would want. My husband did the lawn of our next door neighbor for (free for) an entire summer because we knew she was having medical issues. My parents taught me that it was "nice to be nice" (with no ulterior motive).
Since most of the neighbors noticed him working, I hope he was offered food and water (at least).
The neighbor lady who came up and talked to him about a third of the way in offered to make him of pan of brownies.
A neighbor gave him a pan of homemade brownies and Gatorade.
Kinda of funny how you say "my parents taught me" but then again your husband did it xD
You my dear are amazing as well. When I could use our riding lawnmower I would cut the side of my neighbor's yard every time I cut mine. I never needed a thank you as I just wanted to do it.

We don't know her situation, she may have been tending her children, or working from home, or physical disabled... and as for probate? Nothing of value can be sold, removed, or given away, but whoever has charge of the property is responsible for keeping those things, as well as the real estate, safe and in good condition to be sold once probate is completed...and any major maintenance is to be approved by the probate court...I can't see any place getting upset over mowing the lawn. In the city where I live, they fine property owners/managers if the yards are NOT kept up.

If she was 94 then her kids are probably in their 70's...when my dad passed 6 years ago, there were 6 of us kids to take care of everything and we ALL had a lot to do...I can't fathom only being a couple of people trying to take care of all THAT! This was a HUGE task removed from their plate!!!

Well now I'm here to say that I'm a 74 year older military 🪖 man and it's a honor to even see a young man doing this to be helping others out with their lawns I'm very proud to be seeing this young man doing this i personally just wish that more young men's would be doing something like this in the state as too where we live in God bless him and his family members as well as his friends.

Aw! That lady was so sweet. I love that she, also, hands out gatorades to the men who pick up the garbage. My husband is a mail carrier and he has a few people that have drinks for him when he delivers the mail. So sweet.❤
As a member of society and a participant in my community if I have a neighbor that seems to be struggling I take it upon myself to help. It shouldn't take a complete stranger to do something like this before others get involved. This man here is amazing and the service he offers is priceless. We shouldn't EVER have to be shown how to do the right thing. We all KNOW what's right. There's no such thing as not my job when it comes to community. Get out and get to know your neighbors, be active in knowing the ins and outs of your community. It makes for a safer and more enriched enjoyment of life. Thank You for showing how it's done Sir. Today they call it interference, bring nosey, it's my business stay out. Some think you from the secret service if you enquire their circumstances to try and help. Others are so scared of people because most are nasty. But do it slowly greet next time greet and ask how they are and a garden comment maybe in 2/3 months you know how to help sometimes your neighbor's know something of each other. Go fish you will get their by the way children know more than adults ask them aswell.
Al, this is such a beautiful act of kindness. I think this has been my favorite episode by far. When it started to rain, all I could think was the elderly person who lived there was crying tears joy from heaven. Someone, a total stranger cares enough about her and her home even after her passing. May God grant you and your family much happiness. Your acts of kindness have not gone unnoticed but have inspired many. Keep spreading the word of random acts of kindness. You are awesome!

Her house must have so depressing for her, in her nineties and it was so bad it must have been dark and depressing inside with everything so overgrown. It is a sweet little house. I believe this is the very best yard clean up I have ever seen. I watch a lot of the yard makeovers and you cleaned more tree branches, bushes, and lawn than the rest of these channels all put together.

It doesn't bother me one bit that you get monetized. It's really helping the homeowners and neighbors. Also I have sons that watch you tube videos and say they are going to be millionars, but never get thier buns out of the house and put in the hard work. It takes hard work to do the yard work and then edit the videos. You deserve what you get for the hard work that you do.

I've got 3 brothers and 2 sisters living in Florida. Lighting kills people. Raining is just high humidity. One can stand around in Florida and be drenching wet from humidity.
