Fantastic composition John, classic chord change you/write do 3/4 way through. Keep them coming, what guitar are you playing on there? Take care from Edinburgh.
wow are you from scotland? i'd love to hear your story on a podcast or biography. ive watched two of your videos and can already tell you are an interesting person
Yes indeed, I live near Glasgow. If you trawl through this channel you will find some stories of my pub singing days and my Christian experiences which have been quite remakable. I also have a channel of sermons and hymns ua-cam.com/users/JohnDavidCoupland God bless.
Well done John. I'll give it a try since I have always played the Em9 on the second fret without giving another version any thought. I have a question about nylon string guitars for older hands like mine. Are they easier to fret than steel stringed guitars? I'm thinking of gifting myself a Godin Arena nylon string. The wider nut width (2") is a concern although I have yet to find one in a local store to try out. The ovation nut width looks to be a bit narrower.
Standard classicals are 50-52mm, the Ovation 48mm and the Fender CN140 is 43mm although it is a very quiet little guitar. As for the string tension, it is about the same as a set of 009s or 010s.
Melancholy chord
Awesome finger picking there, John. Thank you for sharing- always good to see you with the guitar in hand.
Thanks for sharing. Loving guitar playing.
Thanks Jim, my pleasure.
