the paint is coming off my aluminium deck, shaft drive clutch is failing, had to remove the steel band inside the deck as it jammed the blade due to the deck corrosion. generally they are cheap despite selling at a premium price (used twice a week in the summer on a big lawn) had it 5 years. replaced a 26 year old castlegarden which i felt i should have kept.
Hi there, i have the 50svp will probably upgrade to one with a honda engine though. Do you sell stihl mowers? Im looking at getting a 448 vc and maybe a stihl 650v one for smaller gardens and one fir larger on wet days. I find fabric bags clog eventually and plastic collectors loads better in wet conditions. Have you any advice on the stihl mowers? Thanks
Hi There- We do sell Stihl and find they hold up really well for high frequency use. The 448VC has been discontinued but it has been replaced with the 448.3V - they should work on a par and be reasonable for small gardens. You're right re the plastic collectors- these are much easier to clean and collect well in the wet which probably puts you in good stead for a Stihl mower.
I have to say compared to my Honda hrx and my sthil mower svp 50 it comes in 3rd place to the other two ,they average to be honest very heavy . The current engine is not as good as the Honda etc

I moved from Honda to weibang and I’m very happy with that, the engine comes from the same company that manufactures the smaller bmw motorcycle engines and so far has been solid

Theres a 5 year domestic warranty- assuming it has been domestic use have you tried taking it back to the dealer for advice or help?

I thought HONDA was pulling out of the lawnmower market due to so many mechanical issues?

Which hrx do you have? I found the svp loads better for collection especially with highlight blade! I've yet to use a stihl mower, any good?

@@mariobumbum2357 I’ve got the 46 svp but any of the mowers should do the job, apart from the rear roller models
Recommend the Weibang 46 SVP (self propelled) or 46 SPP (push) will do it. Honda 16" will also work well. Hope this helps!
