- I know this review for the Engwe P275 Pro is longer than some movies you’ve seen, but this is a very complicated ebike. I spent 3 days with the Engwe P275 Pro, I put 85 miles on the ebike to bring you a very thorough and hopefully entertaining insight into Engwe’s premium, throttle less,250w, fully U.K. and EU legal range monster. (The video had to be re uploaded after it became corrupted in the edit. I’ve updated a few things I didn’t put in the original video too. My apologies.)

I've just watched the 'hub talk' section of this video and I now fully understand what you mean about the gear hub's annoying settings for hilly areas.
That's a damn shame as if it was user configurable with an update I'd buy one this minute.
I'm fine with a motor cut-off speed at 15.5 mph (although 20 mph would be great) but as a regular cyclist in a hilly area, those low speed gear changes would probably annoy me.
If this bike was just a £1000 I'd buy it now as is, I'd just invent a new type of N+1 cycling especially for it 😁
I'll watch this video properly from the start later but in the meantime I'd really like for you to have found a hub configuration workaround.

Exceptional video! Solid road testing across multiple terrains, lots of quality commentary across those surfaces & traffic profiles.

Great and very comprehensive video! I use mine to commute 30km each way into work. I get home with about 8% battery left since I use boost mode all the way.
Can you tell me what mirrors you got for it and how they attach? Looking for a set myself. Thanks!
@@Hobosapien1 you have to cut a cross into the rubber and they’re an old set I forget where I got them from. Probably Amazon.
Is it easy to pedal without the power ?
@@benjoshd3386 you’re doing most of the work on this bike, the motor only cuts in when it really needs to.
