Fieldsports Britain : Shooting foxes

- We've got two kinds of foxshooting this week. First up, twenty times world champion shooter George Digweed has got a wild boar problem on his shoot in Sussex. He is out to get them - and uncovers an even bigger fox problem. The there is Roy Lupton, reinvented this week as The Human Leaf. Just how close can he call a fox? And we have our regulars: gundog training with Ricky Moloney and Skinners Petfoods, News Stump and Hunting UA-cam. It's hard to get through the week without Fieldsports Britain.

was out lamping a few years ago and spotted a fox on the far hedge started giving it some mouth squeaks and seconds later it ran into my legs , don't know who was more shocked me or the fox lol

Awesome episode guys please keep it up, we have those 3d leaf camo suits here in Australia and in the right terrain and if u'r on the right side of the wind u can just about reach out and grab fox's by the scruff. Awesome bit of equipment along with the silva fox whistle...
All these people that leave horrible comments clearly don't understand nature. it has to be done. i now a woman that left her baby outside and a fox ate one of it's leg's.!!!
The shooter had a great attitude. Don't kill if not necessary.
This is so much better than hunting with packs of dogs. So much quicker, easier and more humane. Additionally, you don't piss people off by trespassing and using public highways with large packs of out of control dogs and riders on horses.
They are escaped wild boar but with more than a bit of domestic pig in them. And the RSPCA's motive used to be animal welfare but now it is animal rights

Once mastered, it's very hard to beat a "Silva" for calling foxes, any time of the day or night.

It depends who you are watching on FieldsportsChannel. Everyone eats boar and venison, gamebirds, wilfdowl and pigeons. Some eat rabbits and some feed them to their dogs and ferrets. Gerard Depardieu has a fabulous recipe called Terrine de lapin en gelée. There used to be a market for fox skins which fell off a bit with the PETA campaigns but is now coming back.

Great programme as always. But please try to remember to take the cartridges out of the breach before putting the gun on the ground and walking away from it, to assist your dog with a retrieve!

Very professional, very good shooting too, very humane. These guys care about wildlife and our countryside, they are working to conserve it not destroy it as the PETA-tards would say.

it all depends on how you raise them. I've seen people who've rescued these animals from pups and are now socially acceptable in our standards...
